ch3: Hot chocolate

Bible stopped crying, but for some odd reason he couldn't find it in his heart to let go of Biu, he felt so safe and contained in his embrace, "how are you feeling?" Said Biu, breaking the overwhelming silence," to be honest, I don't know, everything feels like a bad dream and I don't know what to feel any more" Bible said as he lifted his head from biu's shoulder,

"Don't push yourself too hard, give yourself some time to process okay?" Biu said,
"mm you're right, thank you"
Biu said nothing but only smiled softly showering his dimples.

"Wait a minute here" biu then said as he disappeared into the kitchen.
Bible sat there playing with Pao, "Your papa is such a cute boy do you know that?" 'Meow!' Bible took Pao to his chest "You're so lucky little one, you have someone who takes care of you and loves you, I have no one now" he said with a sad tone,

Moments later biu came back with a tray, on the tray there was hot chocolate and cookies, "my grandma used to make me hot chocolate to cheer me up since I was a kid, this is her special recipe, I hope it makes you feel better like it does to me" biu said as he handed the cup to Bible,

"Thank you", Bible took the cup and started drinking, 𝑖𝑡 𝑡𝑎𝑠𝑡𝑒𝑠 𝑔𝑜𝑜𝑑, "It tastes good, did you learn baking from your grandma?" He asked, Biu nodded cutely at him"My parents were often busy when I was a child so I was with her most of the time, I would watch her cook and bake in the kitchen, and she would stuff me with delicious food later on hehe"

"But why baking? Why not cooking" Bible asked while still sipping on his drink, "growing up without your parents around feels so lonely, and sometimes I would start crying cause I miss them, so my grandma would take me in her arms and make cakes or cookies for me, and I would feel much better, so I thought, maybe if I learned baking I can also make other people feel better after having bad days, so I decided to open a bakery," he said with much enthusiasm

"Oh I see, well biu I think your plan is working because I definitely feel better after this delicious hot drink" Bible said with a warm smile, "I'm glad to hear that ble" he was silent for a moment then "Sorry for being too nosy but, how did the conversation go? "

Bible stopped for a moment then took a deep breath, " I asked her to explain, I needed to hear it from her so I could move on" he paused, "She didn't even apologise, not that I would've forgiven her but isn't it what people normally do when they cheat? Apologise?

She admitted that she cheated as if it was the most natural thing she'd ever done, she said that she loved me and cared about me, but she couldn't leave her other boyfriend because he was richer than me-"

"THAT BITC- "Biu screamed subconsciously but then put his hand on his mouth "Sorry, go on"
Bible smiled a little and continued "I have to admit that it hurt my pride a little bit, she then gave me the ring, wished me good luck in my life and left. you know Biu, for a moment there I felt like I was talking to a stranger, that can't be the person I fell in love with" he took a deep breath

"I can't believe I was gonna marry her", Bible said as he took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes,
"my grandma always says that in bad there's always good, maybe this bad experience was actually a blessing in disguise, you know, I think it's good that you found out earlier, better than finding out later when it's too late," biu said "I believe that there's someone out there who deserves you ble, someone who will cherish you and love you unconditionally"

"Maybe," Bible said looking at Biu straight in the eyes with a smile
Biu blushed and looked away "Maybe..."

"Biu, why aren't there any customers yet?" Bible asked after he had a sudden realisation, "Oh, umm I closed the bakery for the morning after you told me you'll meet your ex, thought I could give you some privacy " Biu replied, "I see, thank you biu, really I owe you a lot" Bible said genuinely, he was so grateful yet couldn't understand why biu was being this nice to him, he felt like he didn't deserve any of this, "oh please don't mention it, pao pao and I are more than grateful to help" biu said as he took pao to his lap,

"I have to go now I think, thank you again for everything, it was so nice meeting you and pao, goodbye", Bible stood up to leave, "oh right" Biu was clearly disappointed but tried to hide it "Goodbye Ble, take care of yourself " 'meow' pao pao also looked sad, she grew very fond of him,

Bible got on his motorcycle, however, something inside him was screaming at him to stay, but he couldn't, after all with what right would he stay? They were strangers, and it's better that way, Bible was way too broken for someone like Biu, so he drove away,

Outside the bakery, biu was standing there, feeling disappointed and sad, pao pao was clinging to him in an attempt to comfort him, "I don't want him to go pao, but why would he stay here? He definitely has a life of his own" biu said as he went back inside and closed the door, he decided that he's not in the mood to work today.

But as he was getting in the kitchen
The door suddenly opened 𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔
"Sorry we're closed tod-"
