ch7: ice cream

The next morning, Biu woke up early, he was feeling much better, pao climbed up the bed to give him some morning kisses, "Good morning baby girl," he got out of bed and went to the bathroom to take a shower, he made some breakfast and went to the bakery, the weather was so nice and warm, he opened the bakery and was ready to work,

He put on his apron and began preparing the ingredients, he put everything in the dough mixer but...it won't work! he kept trying but the machine was obviously broken, he didn't have time to fix it so he just mixed everything with his hands,

He turned on the oven, and after it heated up he attempted to put the trays inside but "ouch!,fuck!" He accidentally burnt his arm, he put some ointment on it but it hurt like hell!, there was no time for mourning cause the customers started to arrive, he went to take care of them, "Good morning ma'am what can I get for you",

after the last customer left he got back to the kitchen and he smelled something weird, "fuuuck" he forgot the oven, he rushed to it and got the trays out but it was too late, he dropped the trays on the ground and took a deep breath," this day can't get any worse ",

just as he finished that sentence the doorbell rang again and he went to welcome the customer "Good mor-" "Just give me a cup of coffee I'm in a hurry," "oh, okay sir", he made the coffee and gave it to the customer, "there you go sir, have a nice da-", "this coffee tastes awful, how can you sell this shit to people?!! Now my whole day is ruined ughh" the customer threw some money on biu and dumped the coffee in the trashcan, and then closed the door with a loud thump,

Biu just stood there speechless, he was used to having rude customers but this day had been so draining and he was already exhausted,

"Good morning muffin," it was Bible, he had a soft smile on his face but it dropped as soon as he saw biu's expression, "what's wrong???", Biu just ran to him and hugged him burying his face in Bible's chest, "what took you so long," he said with a sad tone, Bible hugged him back and started patting him gently, "I went to get my bike but it took longer than planned, I'm sorry I should've texted you, ", biu just remained silent and he was now sobbing softly, Bible was getting worried, "baby tell me what happened I'm worried," he said planting a kiss on the crown of his head,

"My dough mixer broke down and the stupid oven was so hot and my arm still hurts and the customer was so rude he said bad things to me," biu said as his sobs were getting louder and louder with each word, "hey hey hey, it's okay take deep breath okay I'm here," Bible said as he broke the hugged slightly and cupped biu's face,

"let's sit down first okay, come on" he led him to the sofa and sat him down while he bent down in front of him, he took both of his hands caressing them gently, " Tell me what's wrong biu," he said, the latter took a deep breath calming down, "I'm just having a bad day, everything I touch gets ruined and I feel like the whole world is against me, and...", he stopped blushing a little, "and?", "and I missed you,"

Bible smiled softly and sat down next to the sobbing boy, he took him to his chest and hugged him tightly, "it's okay to feel overwhelmed baby, we're humans, we have our limits, and we have bad days, it's okay to take a break if you need it, it's okay to cry if you want, or scream, or punch someone," biu giggled a lil "I really had a great urge to punch that motherfucker," " but remember that it's only a bad day, not a bad life, and..." he said looking down at biu who was also looking up at him, "I've missed you too, " he leaned towards him and kissed his lips deeply but softly, "I think I'm getting deeply attached to you little muffin it's becoming a problem," biu was smiling from ear to ear now.

Bible stood up and extended his hand to biu who tilted his head in confusion, "It's lunchtime, let's go eat outside, you need a break anyway", "but I still have lots of things to do", "we will do them after lunch, I will help you now let's go", biu removed his apron, put pao in her small bag and took Bible's hand "let's go",

They got in the car and started driving, "where do you wanna go?" Bible asked, "Somewhere calm and far from people, I don't have any energy left for much socialising, " Bible smiled at him "okay," and that's when he suddenly remembered something "wait, you said that your arm still hurts, why does it hurt what happened??",

he was looking between biu and the road with worried eyes, "oh, it's just a small burn, nothing I'm not used to, it will be better in no time don't worry, " Bible nodded in understanding and took biu's hand kissing it "be careful please," biu nodded smiling.

They arrived in front of a restaurant, got their food and went to the park, they chose a hidden spot and sat down to eat their lunch while having a small conversation, pao was busy chasing some butterflies,

"ble," "Mm?", "Thank you for coming today," he paused taking a deep breath, "normally I don't struggle with multitasking but this morning I really felt stressed out, maybe because I was away for 2 days, but the moment you walked through the door and said 'Good morning ' it's like all the bad things disappeared and I could breathe again, you make me feel safe and you listen to me without judging, I'm really so lucky to have met you,"

Bible was looking at him fondly, he was playing with his hair gently " trust me muffin, the lucky one here is me, you came to my life just when I thought that it was over, you lit up my world like sunshine, my life was bitter but you made it sweet, and..."

he took biu's hands, his face was serious now,"I like you, I really do like you biu, and if you allow me I wanna call you mine," biu was shocked, he was blushing so hard and couldn't say a word, "I know it's too soon and we barely know each other, we don't have to rush things if you don't want to but, I really want to be your boyfriend," he finished talking but his hands were shaking, he was so nervous,

Biu was silent for a few moments, and then he took Bible's collar and pulled the latter towards him, "Finally Bible, I thought you'll never ask ", Bible smirked, biu kissed him gently, but Bible was not planning on being gentle, he circled his arms around biu's waist and pulled him closer, he was sucking and biting on the younger's lips who was moaning softly, the soft kiss turned dirty very soon until they run out of oxygen and had to stop,

Bible was now looking at a very flushed biu, his lips were swollen and he looked even more kissable, but they had to stop before they both lose control, "I'll take that as a yes" Bible said as he kissed the giggling biu's cheek and hugged him to his chest, biu lifted his head looking at the other straight in the eyes, "ble, I like you too," he said and pecked his lips and hid his blushing face in Bible's chest, Bible just laughed "look at you blushing as if you weren't eating my face just now," he started patting his back and they remained like that for a while.

They were back at the bakery now, biu was in the kitchen and Bible took care of the customers, pao pao was napping somewhere, they finished later in the evening and it was time to close, "Thank you again for coming ble, you're a lifesaver ", "no need to thank me biu, I know you'd do the same for me,"

biu just nodded with a smile, he paused for a second and then "do you want to come in for a while, maybe we can have some ice cream?" Biu suggested shyly, and the man in front of him smiled and nodded "I would love that," they held each other's hands and walked towards the house,

Bible was sitting on the sofa,wearing some pyjamas that biu gave him and picking a movie to watch while biu was getting the ice cream, he joined him later and made himself comfortable in the older's embrace, yes this turned into a movie night,

Halfway through the movie biu was already half asleep with his face buried in Bible's neck, pao was snuggling between them, Bible was already asleep with his head leaning on biu's, and so, the three of them drifted to sleep feeling ever so peaceful.
