The next morning,
"Aayushmaan Bhava, children! May you both be victorious and end Kamsa", blessed Akrura and Sutanu.
"All the best brothers!! We want to see you overthrow that tyrant!", wished Devaka and Upadevaka.
With the blessings and wishes of their loved ones, Balaram and Krishna stepped out of the house.
They felt extremely rejuvenated and excited. Along with Devaka and Upadevaka, they went to Jayant's house. And they all met Shree, appreciating her for her decision and her way of taking her friendship with Shyam.
"I am so sorry Shree! I too knew that you love someone else. But I had to let Shyam share his feelings with you. Otherwise, he would have been guilty and would have gone mad.", said Balaram sheepishly.
"Not at all Sankarshana! Shyam did the right thing! And so did you by allowing him to do so. I am proud to be his friend", Shree flashed a friendly smile at both Krishna and Balaram. Krishna returned the smile generously.
Smiling back, Balaram said, "Come on! If we don't leave in sometime, we won't make it to the amphitheatre on time. It is almost forenoon."
"Yes yes! You all go ahead, I shall just check of everything is fine in the house and come", smiled Jayant.
"I too have to check a few things. I will come with Arya", said Sunanda.
"Alright! We'll keep going ahead. Both of you come when you have finished your checking", smiled Devaka, and went out, with the others following him.
After they all went out, Sunanda and Jayant went about the house, checking if all things were in place. And once they did, they came in front of one another, faces grave.
"I just hope the day goes well today, Arya!", Sunanda said with worry.
"I hope so too! I am just praying that Krishna comes and ends all the cruelty we've been subjected to. Oh Narayana! Please send our saviour soon!", Jayant prayed fervently, joining his hands.
"It is going to be such a heavy day for Shree! She has been so brave all this while. I don't know what will happen if she sees Krishna in any trouble. She will be devastated even if he gets a single scratch.", said Sunanda, in a grave tone.
"And seeing her like that, what will Yuvaraj Rukmi think of us? What will he do? I too am extremely worried", said Jayant, his forehead wrinkling in worry. And he looked up. His eyes opened wide in shock; a drop of sweat glistened down his forehead. His hands started sweating and trembling. He just stood rooted in his position, unable to say anything.
"Arya! What happened? Why are you reacting like this? Did you see something?", asked Sunanda worried, and turned around. She saw a sight that was unexpected and was unable to react.
Balaram was standing in front of them. Upset, broken and furious that he had to hear things that he did not know about. He stood there, with his hands on his hips, chest moving up and down because of his fast breathing, his face resplendent with rage.
"What are both of you hiding from me?", he asked softly, walking up to them.
Both of them were too stunned to respond. They feared his anger and might.
"I asked, what are you hiding from me? What do I not know about Shree?", he asked raising his voice.
"Sankarshana, please forgive us. We had to hide this from you. It was because Shree wanted it.", said Jayant, falling at his feet, his heart filled with fear.
