Meanwhile in the amphitheatre,

"Haha! Nephew, you think you have won after killing all my wrestlers? You have not faced me yet!", Kamsa bellowed, despite his mounting fear of nearing death.

"Maatula, why don't you ease yourself a little? Give me a blessing.", Krishna spoke, wiping his sweat and breathing heavily, smirking.

"Don't expect me to bless you with a long life! I do not want to go against destiny.", Kamsa raised his eyebrows.

"Kanha, what are you up to?", nudged Balaram, curious.

"Wait and watch the fun Dau!", giggled Krishna. Turning to Kamsa he said, "I have a suggestion. Bless me that my death will be such a one, unheard of and weird. People should mock the way I die."

"Ah! This I will surely grant. May your death be of the weirdest form and may people speak about its form for years to come!!!", said Kamsa, in all excitement.

Flipping his hair, Krishna said slyly, "Maatula, you just blessed me with the weirdest death in the world. How is dying in a wrestling match a weird death? Isn't it quite common?",

Kamsa realised what had just happened. He blessed his nephew with an abnormal death. And now try as he might using Maya or any weapons or wrestling, he wouldn't be able to kill Krishna. His face turned red and palms started sweating in fear. But he had one last tactic left.

"I have a surprise for you my dear nephew. Let me fight you alone in a wrestling match. If I kill you, I clearly win. But if you kill me, not only will I die, but also take your dear parents with me.", he signed to his left.

The soldiers brought in Devaki and Vasudeva and Ugrasena, chained and dragged towards Kamsa. At the sight of them, Krishna and Balaram had their eyes swelling up. The citizens were shocked to see what their princess and prince were reduced to.

"Mata! Pitashree!", they said.

Devaki and Vasudeva looked around. After all these years of prison, Mathura seemed different. Devaki's eyes fell on her children and she stood. Emotionless, expressionless. Her tired face didn't recognise her sons. Vasudeva's eyes were brimming. He just saw his two children, alive and healthy, grown up into fine young men.

"Devaki! Our children!", he cried in happiness, pointing at Krishna and Balaram.

"No no my lord! My children are still young. They are not these fine young men. These boys have been brought unnecessarily by Kamsa. Why torture them in the name of our children?", said Devaki, shaking her head, looking at both of them. She refused to believe that her children were grown up.

Krishna's heart broke at the words of his mother. How pained she must have been? In his most affectionate voice, he cried out, "Mata!", like a wounded cub seeking the loving embrace of the lioness.

Just that one word. Devaki burst out. Her emotions flooded down her face in the form of tears. She couldn't help but try and break the chains. She wanted to pull her sons to herself and never let them go.

"Krishna! Balaram! My little ones!", she wept inconsolably. Vasudeva held her as he wept with her.

"Tch Tch Tch! What an emotional reunion. Save it for later, if we can. Surely either of you will be killed today.", guffawed Kamsa in his vileness.

"Kanha! Take over! He's all yours now.", Balaram nodded and stepped aside.

Krishna now grimly, used his right hand to summon Kamsa to the wrestling ground. Kamsa removed his ornaments and Angavastra and came down walking. He ran towards Krishna. And this time, Krishna did not wait. He began running towards Kamsa in all anger and strength he could gather. And as both of them plunged into each other, the entire amphitheatre shook. Krishna was quick enough to recover from that crash while Kamsa took a while. And they began wrestling. Kamsa held Krishna by the waist and picked him up. But he couldn't manage Krishna's weight for too long and put him down. Krishna lifted up Kamsa in the same manner, effortlessly and just put him down. Kamsa's back separated from the skin, like a serpent would do. As he writhed in pain, he struggled and got up, eyes having turned red. They again started running towards each other, and this time, Krishna beautifully slipped into a Chakrasana and dodged Kamsa's attack. He then placed his foot on Kamsa's thighs and flipped him. Kamsa fell hard on his stomach. And this time, his mouth started bleeding. He stood up, already tired of Krishna's attacks. But he did not give up. He invoked his Maya. He moved his palms in a circular fashion and from his palms emerged a ball of black light rays. He directed them at Krishna, which the latter destroyed by merely snapping his fingers. The citizens cheered and clapped hands merrily. Kamsa was flabbergasted, his Maya had failed him. He picked up his club and hurled it at Krishna. Krishna put out his hand, made a fist and crushed the club from far away. Now Kamsa was terrified. He had not thought that Krishna would defeat him so soon. He decided to now use his tactic. He ran up the stairs that led to his seat in the amphitheatre. And as he ran, he again created a ball of black rays. But this time he hurled it at Devaki and Vasudeva.
