Next day!
Joon-hee put the cake he baked by himself for them on the table. He decorated the whole room by himself. He sat down on the floor feeling exhausted.
"I hope hyung will come on time.." mumbled the younger. He glanced at the gold chain he bought for the older. "I hope he will like the gift"
At night!
Taeyang looked at the wall clock as he saw it was already 9 pm. He cursed under his breath as he was late and he felt terrible for making his lover wait.
"Hey!!! Are you leaving?"
Taeyang looked at his incharge as he stood up and stopped packing his things. "Y-yeah..I finished every work..so I..am leaving"
"Can you stay for some more hours..please? I need help" his boss requested. He didn't have any other option but to say yes. He felt horrible for not being there for Joon-hee who has been waiting like for hours.
"I should call Joon-hee and let him know that I'll be late" he mumbled as he took the mobile out of his pocket. "Fuck" he cursed out of frustration as his mobile was not charged and was switched off. He quickly put his mobile on charge and started working so that he would be able to finish early.

11:57 pm.
Joon-hee looked at the wall clock as he sat on the chair weakly. He looked pale. "I'm tired Hyung..tired of waiting" he mumbled as he looked around the room which he decorated by himself for them. But it was only him sitting there, exactly opposite of what he imagined. He broke down into tears.
Moans escaped his lips through the suppressed sound of hiccups due to crying loudly.
Joon-hee walked down the stairs slowly as he was about to leave through the main door as he was called. "Joon-hee".
Joon-hee lifted his head as he saw Taeyang running towards him. "I'm extremely sorry..I should have informed that I'll be late.."
Before he could finish his words,Joon-hee proceed to walk away. Taeyang looked clueless bit however he stopped the younger as he grabbed his hands.
"Joon-hee..I'm really"
"I never needed your sorry..I just needed you.." Joon-hee answered as he looked at Taeyang with tears in his eyes.
"I'm really sorry for making you wait..please forgive me just for this time..I'll not be late again"
"You said the..same thing on my graduation day,my birthday, our dinner date, the day we decided to go your favorite band's concert" the younger said with anger in his voice. "Are you really feeling sorry..?"
"Joon-hee..I am working hard for us..for our future..don't you realize that?" The older stated trying to calm the other down who was crying mess.
"To make the future..b..better you're ruining our present..and you don't realize that?" The younger shouted as he grabbed the other's collar.
The older caressed the other's cheeks but Joon-hee pushed him weakly. "D..do not t..touch me!"
Taeyang sighed heavily. "Please..listen-"
"Let's break up..".
Taeyang was taken aback. "Did I hurt you terribly..that..you want to leave me..?" He thought as he looked at Joon-hee.
Joon-hee proceed to leave..as he slowly walks away. Taeyang could not do anything but to stand there like a statue. "I d..don't want to..l...lose you..please d..don't go" the older wanted to stop the other but couldn't do anything. He looked at the ground and he wiped his tears. He saw the younger going out of his sight.

Taeyang went inside his room as he looked around and saw how much effort Joon-hee had put to decorate the room however it was of no use. He noticed the cake on the table. He saw the I love you written on the cake and instantly started thinking about the beautiful times they spent together.
Taeyang took the gold chain from the table that Joon-hee bought for him. "I bet he was saving money from his salary to buy me this.." he mumbled. "Is this the end of us?". He broke down into tears.
He wished he was there on time. He wished to make the younger feel that he was there for him. But he failed miserably. He regretted for not stopping Joon-hee from leaving.
"I hope..I meet you again..no matter when..I'll always love you..the way I do now..I hope you would remember me" he said to himself.
