The Isle of the Lost was far from a fairytale to its foreigners, especially its residents. Little sun radiated through the storm of clouds above head, and only the soft breeze of wind slightly blowing was present. It was a gloomy neighborhood that held no solace during times of trouble. No one wanted to call it home.

The island became a prison for infamous villains, located off the coast of The United States of Auradon and secluded from the rest of the world. Stripped of all they had — including their magic — the villains were exiled and left to rot.

How miserable they all were, all but five who vowed to attain vengeance — Maleficient, The Evil Queen, Cruella de Vil, Jafar, and The Queen of Hearts — their souls were full of hatred, provoking their children to desire revenge against the King of Auradon as well. It was no surprise that they were all feared on the Isle, but their descendants were far more rotten to the core.

The five adolescents held power. They took advantage of it, too, especially the Queen of Hearts' daughter.

Cordelia Heart got the thrill out of being unnecessarily cruel. She loved the heart-shattering look her victims gave in particular. It was her prime source of dopamine on the repulsive island. Insults left her tongue like compliments as she passed every busy road or dead-end street, earning a name for herself on the Isle of the Lost.

However, it all came crashing down when she — and her four friends — received a chance to attend school in Auradon. The Prince believed they needed some goodness to enlighten them from their wicked and vile parents, and so he made it his first proclamation as king. Nonetheless, like any villain, Maleficent — in one way or another — found a plan to turn his declaration into an opportunity for revenge for them.

They were to go and steal Fairy Godmother's wand, then bring it back so they could rule the land with evil. Simple as that.

At the feeling of her mother's unsettling glare, she straightened her posture and trod across the room to where she was. The Queen of Hearts caressed her daughter's rose-colored cheeks, "my baby," she cooed softly, "I trust that you'll make mommy proud, right? Get revenge on little Alice for me, or her child... If she even has an offspring." The older woman cackled at her own tease as she high-fived the Evil Queen while at it.

"Don't worry, Mother," holding eye contact with fear. She knew her mother loved her deep within, but her not-so-little threats daunt her without fail. "Good, or I'll be off with your head once you return." Being ushered out the door of their shared home, she grasped the bag her mother had already prepared and walked down the stairs that led to the street.

A crowd of residents had begun to gather around as they watched the five villain kids prepare for their leave for Auradon. Word travels fast around the Isle.

When approaching the parked vehicle, Cordelia's eye encounters a familiar gaze on her. Sauntering towards the man who eyed her down, the slight frown of his lip became noticeable.

"Queenie." That foolish nickname he called her back when they were just kids still made her weak every time. "Harry," she whispered, "will you wait for me until I'm back?" Resting his hand on her shoulder, he nodded. They stayed like that for a while before she knew it was time to go.

Filing into the limo shortly after tossing her belongings into the back, she finds an open seat next to Evie, who was touching up her makeup. Looking over to her right, she cringed at the clutter Carlos and Jay created. "Oh God. Cordelia, you've got to try this," the white-haired boy passed her an unfamiliar fruit, "it's red, too. Come on!"

Hesitantly taking a bite of the sweet fruit, her eyes widened at the delectable taste. "It's good, isn't it?" Her head nodded with satisfaction before snatching one more piece from the bowl it originated from.

"Hey, mind bringing some life back to my cheeks, E? I'm feeling a bit too washed out," she asked, turning her head back over to Evie. "Of course! A little blush wouldn't hurt, right?"

"Look!" Cordelia cried out as she noticed they were heading straight towards the demolished bridge. "It's a trap!" All five villain kids began to shriek in terror, fearing their possible demise. She clung tightly to her best friends, knowing that if she died, she'd be with the people who held a special place in her heart.

However, in some way, they didn't plummet down to their deaths. Hesitantly peeking her eyes open, gold rings emerged as a bridge that accompanied it extended from the broken-off part.

"What just happened?" Carlos asked confusedly, peering outside of the windows. "It must be magic!"

"Hey," Mal tapped a remote controller she found to get the driver's attention, "did this little button just open up the magic barrier?"

"No," he holds up a golden controller for them to see, "this one opens the magic barrier. That one opens my garage," the unknown man looks into the rearview mirror, "and this button?" He activates the switch that controls the divider.

"Okay. Nasty. I like that guy." She smirked at the girl's words before admiring the golden bridge that formed beneath them.

Cordelia knew she was just moments away from stepping foot on Auradon, and she had to make her mother proud.
