No one's pov.

"Are you for real jealous right now?" Jongho asked Soomin as he burst out laughing.

The girl rolled her eyes and sighed, sitting down on a bench that was on the rooftop.

Jongho giggled and placed a hand on her shoulder. "It's alright to be jealous. Especially since you had a crush on Yunho for the past two years. I understand you."

Soomin started playing with her fingers and slowly nodded.

"Try to find out how close they are and if their relationship is healthy and everything distance yourself from him. It would be the best for both of you guys." Jongho continued.

As the day progressed, she couldn't shake off the unease that settled within her.

During lunch, she observed Yunho and Dahyun from afar, their interactions seemingly comfortable and friendly.

Jongho nudged her, noticing her glum expression. "Look, Soomin, it's not the end of the world. Just focus on yourself for a while. Maybe things will change, or you'll find someone who appreciates you more."

The girl nodded, attempting to hide her disappointment behind a forced smile. The rest of the day passed in a blur, and detention felt like an eternity for Soomin.

As she took her things and left the school, she heard her name getting called.

"Soomin! Are you going home alone?" Wooyoung yelled as he started running to her as Yeosang sighed and face palmed.

She giggled and nodded. He smiled and intercalated his arm with hers. "Then we are going together."

———

It's been 2 weeks since Soomin started to distance herself from Yunho. His relationship with Dahyun seemed healthy, and they were happy with each other. At least, that's what everyone saw.

Yunho was confused as to why she was doing all of these after being friends for 10 years. He thought that maybe she was in love with someone and that's why. The biggest problem is that he was the most jealous one, not Soomin.

As Soomin woke up from her deep sleep, she decided to go for a walk since they had no school that week. She got dressed up and went in the city.

She rolled her eyes and took out her phone, seeing that Wooyoung was spamming her.

Wy: soomin where are you

Wy: come as fast as you can to jonghos place

Wy: and dont ask questions

Wy: we dont have time for this

Wy: move your ass faster, please darling☺️

Her eyes widened and sighed, going directly to Jongho's house.

Soomin didn't even get to ring the bell as the door opened, and she was yanked inside.

The lights were closed and she couldn't see anything in the whole house. Someone dragged her to the couch, and a lamp was turned on, reflecting to someone that sat on a chair with papers in their hand.

"Song Soomin, 16 years old, has a bigger brother, aka Song Mingi, had been crushing on Jeong Yunho for the past 2 years." The voice said, and as Soomin realised that it was Hongjoong, she rolled my eyes.

He continued then, turning around to face her. "She's jealous because Yunho has a girlfriend, aka Kim Dahyun, 17 years old, her father is a CEO. What Soomin doesn't know is that the relationship between Yunho and Dahyun isn't something serious. Just his parents want to profit from her father. Alright, more like his dad wants because his mom is a chill and nice woman and gave up on this idea long ago, just wanting to see Yunho happy."

The girl's eyes widened, and San entered the living room with two cups of tea and some more papers. He gave one to Hongjoong and one to her, keeping his face straight.

"You guys are too serious about this, and what are you even talking about..." She said and raised an eyebrow.

"You have three options young lady: 1. Give up on Yunho and distance yourself from him so you won't intervene in their family problems. 2. Try to talk to Yunho about it and convince him to do what he thinks is right. 3. Do nothing about it for now and wait to see what will happen." Seonghwa spoke as he entered the room while petting a cat plushie.

Soomin tried not to burst out laughing and covered her mouth with her hand. Then, Yeosang and Wooyoung entered the living room as well with some balloons and broke them.

"Or you can do 2, 1, and 3." Wooyoung said.

Yeosang cleared his throat and continued his friend. "Or chose the 4th choice that would be to have trust in us and let us do the work."

Just as she burst out laughing, Mingi and Jongho entered the house, having confusing looks on their faces.

"What the hell... Wait, how did you all enter my house?" Jongho exclaimed as Soomin fell on the floor from laughing too much.

"Ya'll are ridiculous. First of all, I am not jealous of Yunho and Dahyun. Let them do what they want. Second of all, how did ya'll know about all of this and that I am distancing myself from him?" The girl asked as she got up.

The boys sighed and turned on the lights, feeling awkward from the whole situation.

Seonghwa cleared his throat. "Yunho told us that you are distancing yourself from him, and he doesn't know why, what happened, and if he did anything wrong. We wanted to talk to you to see the real reason behind all of this."

"Why didn't you say that from the start." She asked and smiled, understanding the boys that were trying to help his friend.

"Look, I am trying to distance myself from Yunho because I have liked him for 2 years and now, finding out that he has a girlfriend, I want them to he happy together and I don't want to intervene in their relationship." Soomin continued and sat back down.

"She has a point..." Wooyoung whispered and started thinking.
