"Finally, classes are over. I was losing it," Mingi remarked, gathering his things.

Soomin and Hongjoong nodded in agreement.

"I just want to go home, but I forgot I have to meet Jongho at the cafe. I don't get why he wants to meet there," Soomin said, shrugging.

"Yes, my plan is falling into place," her brother smirked, whispering.

"Want me to come with you? I've got nothing else going on, and I live nearby," Hongjoong offered, and Soomin accepted.

"Okay, guys, I gotta go meet someone. Soomin, get home safe. See you later," Mingi said hurriedly, darting out of the class.

"What happened to him today..." Soomin sighed, leaving with Hongjoong.

---

"Why the rush, Yunho?" Jongho asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I have to meet Mingi at a cafe. I don't know why he wants to meet there when we could just walk together, but whatever. See you tomorrow, Jong. Don't forget to send me the homework," Yunho said as he left.

"The plan is working, yes!" Jongho exclaimed, walking out of the classroom with a grin.

---

"So, you have no idea why we're meeting here?" Hongjoong asked Soomin.

"Nope, not a clue. It's weird, to be honest," she replied.

"Alright, here we are. I'll head home; got some stuff to do for tomorrow. Take care," Hongjoong said, departing.

"Okay, bye!"

Standing in front of the cafe, Soomin groaned.

Entering the cozy place, she spotted Yunho engrossed in his phone.

"What's he doing here?" she wondered.

Their eyes met as Yunho looked up.

"Soomin? What are you doing here?" he asked, approaching her.

"What are you doing here, Yunho?" she countered, arms crossed.

"Mingi asked to meet here. Said he wanted to talk about something," Yunho replied.

"Jongho told me to meet here for something too..."

"This is suspicious," Yunho mused.

"No kidding," Soomin agreed, scanning the surroundings.

"I'm out. Probably just a dumb prank," she decided, turning to leave, but Yunho stopped her.

"Wait, let's not jump to conclusions. Maybe there's something genuine behind this," he suggested earnestly.

Soomin hesitated, glancing back at him, not amused by the situation.

"Are you behind all this? Just wanting to see me? Or start another argument?" she questioned, stepping back.

"Of course not! None of that's true," Yunho exclaimed.

Soomin rolled her eyes. "Sure, Prince Charming. Just spit it out! You're wasting my time!"

Yunho laughed ironically, taking her hand. "Calm down, darling. No need to broadcast."

Soomin's cheeks flushed as they stood close.

"Wait, you don't know anything either?" she asked, starting to calm down.

"Not a clue. If I did, I'd tell you," he replied.

Their tension crackled, eyes locked.

Then, Yunho made his move, closing the gap between them with a kiss.

Shocked but not entirely disliking the sensation, Soomin reciprocated, their lips moving slowly.

Jongho and Mingi watched from the door, grinning.

"Finally," Mingi sighed, smiling.

As they broke apart, Soomin covered her face in embarrassment.

Yunho spotted his friends and grimaced.

"Uh-oh, I think we're busted." Mingi whispered.

"Soo, if you're embarrassed about this do not turn around." Yunho said and crossed his arms.

"Don't tell me Mingi and Jongho standing right next to the door because if yes they're both dead." She said and took her hands away from her face.

Yunho bit his lip and nodded.

"Song Mingi you're dead." She said and didn't even turn around.

"We're screwed," Jongho muttered, making a swift exit.

As Soomin turned around, she couldn't help but let out an exasperated sigh at the sight of Mingi and Jongho standing near the door, wearing guilty expressions.

"Seriously, guys?" she groaned, shaking her head.

Mingi scratched the back of his head sheepishly. "Uh, surprise?"

"It's not funny," Soomin scolded, crossing her arms.

"We may have... planned this," Jongho admitted, avoiding eye contact.

The girl's expression softened slightly. "You did all this just to set us up?"

Yunho stepped forward, his tone serious. "I had no idea. I wouldn't have gone along with it if I knew."

Soomin glanced at him, her cheeks still flushed. "Well, I guess that's something."

Mingi cleared his throat nervously. "Sorry, Soo. We just wanted to... help?"

She raised an eyebrow. "Help with what exactly?"

"Getting you two together...?" Jongho smiled and took a step behind.

"Oh my fucking God..." Soomin face palmed.
