Taylor's POV

Now it was on me.

"I'm sorry," Harley cried as I help her going upstairs.

"Hadley it's not your fault, you didn't mean it," I said helping her to the bathroom.

I helped her undress and I stayed and the bathroom in the middle room near the closet so I could help her. I got a extra pair of clothes for us both. I closed the curtain as I showered in the shower bed to the tub so I could wash of the vomit.

I sat in a distance and I see Hadley falling asleep.

"Hadley," I said waking her up.

"Come on now, we're gonna get you check out," I said and she looked at me confused.

"Huh?" She questioned.

"You're? Taylor Swift?" She questioned.

"Yes, we've met already silly girl," I said in a calm tone, she's getting amnesia.

•••

I dressed her and got her into the van. In my disguise I was holding a bucket up to her and holding her hair back.

Quickly after a few minutes we made it to the ER.

"Who do we have here?" The reception asked.

"Hadley James Hartmann, she's 10, she hit her head this morning on the door and she's got nausea and vomiting nonstop and she's got slight amnesia," i explained.

"Alright and who are you?" She asked. In situations like this, I go by "Ellie Conway" trying not to blow my cover.

"I'm her foster mother, Ellie Conway," I said and immediately she got up leading us to a room.

"Ellie Conway, Doctor" she said and the doctor nodded.

"and who do we have here?" The doctor asked.

"My foster daughter Hadley, she ran into the door this morning and hasn't stopped this mess or can't really remember what is going on," I explained.

"It seems like a definite concussion, will try some meds to relax the vomiting and then will test her," The doctor said and I nodded. I held Hadley close and stroked her hair.

"You're going to be fine hon, but I don't think you'll be going back to your parents this week," I said and she looked at me upset.

"I'm sorry hon, but I promise will have a good weekend," I said and she didn't react.

•••

Finally the puking had stopped. Hadley whines and hid into my chest.

"What's wrong Hads?" I asked.

"Lights, Hurt,"she cried.

"It's alright Hads I'll turn them of and shut the blinds," I said getting up to do so.

"Hi Hadley, we're gonna run a few tests, are you okay with that? Your mom can help you," the doctor said.

Hadleys POV

Mom? My mom is dead? I have no idea what's going on and how I got here? But I can barely stand up. Taylor grabs hold of me and helps me up.

"It's alright Hadley I got you," she smiles. She knows my name?!

"Balance is off, Hadley, can you stand on one foot for me your left foot?" The doctor asked.

Taylor's POV

Hadley stands on her right foot, she can't balance so I catch her. 1. Wrong foot Hads.

"Alright Hadley, can you tell me what day it is?" the doctor asked.

"It's August 5th," she said. It was not august 5th... it's was the 7th...

"Okay, good, Hadley can you go like this for me?" The doctor demonstrated for her to touch her pointer fingers and alternate touching her her nose while walking in a straight line.

Flunked.

She fell into my arms.

"Ow," she said. I let out a soft giggle. She's so cute.

"Grade 2 concussion, complete bed rest for 2 days, dim light and no hard sports for 2 weeks," the doctor said.

"Thank you doc," I said.

"No problem miss Conway, the amnesia will ware off in a few hours, I have a prescription for her on order and you can pick it up asap," the doctor said as I signed the discharge papers.

I helped Hadley up and we walked out to the van.

"Lets go home kiddo," I said and she nodded in confusion.
