Back Home...

Hadleys POV ~1 Week Later~

Today I return to Travis' for the weekend, honestly I rather stay with Taylor and Nana, we've bonded so well. Well next week I have a home game so I'll just stay with Taylor.

"Got everything Haddie?" Taylor asked.

"Everything," I said with a soft smile.

"What am I gonna do without my baby?" She asked.

Taylor's POV

"It's just 2 nights Taylor, I'm going to miss you too," she said hugging me, Hadley is still timid with physical gestures, but it's on her own terms.

Then a lady walked up to the door.

"Hi I'm Melissa Rodgers, I'm Hadleys case worker, I'm going to be bringing her back and forth between homes," She said.

"Hi, Melissa, I'm Taylor, we talked over the phone," I introduced.

"Hi Taylor good to meet you, I will bring her back Sunday afternoon when she returns from church," She said and I nodded.

"You better score goals for me this weekend!" I said to Hadley.

"I will, and give Nana a hug for me!" Hadley said and waved goodbye.

Hadleys POV

I got in the car and plugged in my headphones as it was a decent drive to Travis's house.

"Miss Hartmann were here," I heard. I look up and we're at Travis'.

We got out of the car and I grabbed my stuff and headed to the door. We knocked.

Travis opens the door.

"I got your letter," I said and he just hugged me.

"I missed you bunny," he said and I just stood there.

"Thank you," He said to my caseworker. We walked inside and he grabbed my stuff.

"So tell me, we'll what you can about the first two weeks with your foster family," Travis asked.

"Well the first few days we're rough, I got slammed by amnesia, and was sick as anything after the concussion. But there was no school so my foster mom and I went out and did things," I said.

"That must've been fun! How's school for you?" He asked.

"It's awesome! I have a few friends with my peers, and I play soccer and do band, guitar of course, and I started soccer! My first game is tomorrow, it's an away game, which is here, and next week I have a home game." I explained.

"Well I'll be at tomorrow's game but next week I have a concert, so I will be traveling," Travis said. Casual...

"Well I'm glad we can be together tomorrow," I said.

"Hey I'm tired I feel like taking a nap, can I ?" I asked.

"Hadley James you don't have to ask to take naps at my house?" He said perplexed.

"I know," I said avoiding conversation and went upstairs.

I took out my iPod and texted Taylor. But she's under "Ellie" in my contacts, and my Nana is under "Ellie's Nana." Whom I call Nana.

Hey Ellie! Miss you! I just got to my parents  house! I'm tired though, so I'm going to take a nap! See ya! ~ Hads <3

I shut my iPod off and went to sleep.

Taylor's POV

I received a text from Hadley that she made it back to her house. She's taking a nap at 1 pm? She's definitely tired I bet from the drive. I texted her back.

Hey! I miss you more! I cant wait to see you! Hope you have the best of dreams! Nana says hi too! Hugs all around I'll see you soon <3 ~ Ellie

It felt so lonely... mom wasn't here, no Hadley. I decided to break out of this mess and call a friend.

Selena

"Sel, I miss you so much, can you come over," I asked.

"I've been waiting for this call, yes, be over in ten," she said and I smile.

I was sitting on my couch near tears. I just missed Hadley so much.

Ding dong

"It's open!" I called and Selena runs in.

"What's wrong?" Selena worries.

I got up and hugged her and just cried. I needed my best friend, my little sister.

"Tay, cmon, what's wrong," she asked sitting me back down. I just cried more in her arms.

"Oh Sel, so much happened, I started up my fostering again and the little girl I'm fostering literally just went to her dads, for 3 days, and I've just been missing her, she didn't go the past two weeks due to a concussion" I cried.

"Oh Taylor," Selena laughs.

"You have so much love, she's going to be back before you know it, tell me about her," Selena said.

"Well, she's 10, she just started 5th grade, an absolute soccer star, and a guitarist, her name is Hadley James," I said.

"She sounds perfect for you Tay, how's she handling the undercover?" Selena asked.

"I think she's taking it wayyy easier than I thought, her undercover profile suits her, Alyssa Manson," I said.

"No pictures?" Selena asked.

"Here's her asleep, with my mom," I said and showed her my phone.

"She looks like you," Selena said.

"You think so?" I questioned.

"Oh yeah, like even if she's not biological the blonde hair is a give away," Selena said.

"We'll call this the bachelor because when I meet her parents this'll reveal it," I laugh.

We sat there talking for a while. I missed my best friend.
