"The guy with purple hair, it must be the Electroman, Julius from Ivra. He is one of the famous warriors of Ivra. People said, the sky above him was always cloudy. It's no wonder the sky around the huge tree has been cloudy since we almost got here. He can cast a thunder from the cloudy sky, strong enough to destroy us in one strike. Why did it have to be him of all people in Ivra?", Simon knew a lot about the Ivra's commander.
"Is there a way for us to ambush them?", Bard asked
"Hey Kid, are they gathered at one point?", Simon asked the Kid
"No, they are spread. I think there are some unarmed people observing the Ygdrassil", the Kid said what he saw.
"Hmmmm... They must be the smart people researching Ygdrassil's resources. I think there is a way to approach them", then Simon explained the plan to the gank.
On the other side, under the Ygdrassil tree.
"Excuse me Milady, please take a rest," said the purple-haired guy to the noblewoman. He bowed, showing his respect to her.
"I wanna enjoy the Ygdrassil a little more, Julius", the noblewoman said to Julius, the purple-haired guy. He has a thinking face.
"I'm sorry, milady. You can't see the beautiful sky of Ygdrassil because of mine, I need to be on guard", Julius apologized to her.
"I know, Julius. Your cloudy sky is needed to guard us", the noblewoman understood.
"Yes, milady. My Gift needs to be prepared for a quiet time. It takes time to meet the two opposite things. But, once it meet each other, it can cause thunder that can exterminate enemy in a strike", Julius explained his Gift to her.
"Please, be cautious...", the noblewoman's voice was soft, very calming to the people around him.
An hour had passed since then. The air became colder, the wind blew strong. Julius stood on high ground while observing the situation. Suddenly, a guardman approached Julius in hurry.
"Sir, there is a group of around twenty armed men approaching us. I think they are bandits", the guardman reported.
"What are they doing in a place like this? They must target us. Are they being hired? Anyway, how can they so confident to approach us with a small number?" Julius asked himself with a low voice
"Gather the army to confront them! Tighten the guard around milady!", Julius gave his orders.
Then the Ivra'army and Bard's gank faced each other.
"Stop right there, bandits! What are you doing in a place like this??" Julius shouted and asked the bandits.
"We are here to ask for some goods from you!", Simon shouted and said to Julius
"Do you think you can fool me? Who hired you, bandits?", Julius asked the Bandits again.
"Hahaha, just kidding, Julius from Ivra! We're here to slaughter all of you", Simon answered Julius. He and the gang were laughing loudly.
"So, you know me. Then how foolish you are for confronting us with such a small group. If I want, I can exterminate you in a blink of an eye. Just go back and enjoy your drink!" Julius warned the Bandits.
The bandits didn't give an answer. They walked slowly to the Ivra's army. Julius raised his hand up. The sky became more cloudy. He was ready to strike them with his thunder.
"Bring them forward!", Simon ordered his man to bring forward something.
"P-p-please, spare us", they are the researcher kidnapped by the bandits.
"Grrrrr. What a coward bandits!!!" Julius gritted his teeth. His eyes bulged. He was shocked by what he saw
"Hahahaa! This is our way. Make sure you adhere to your army's morale code and don't strike us with your glory thunder!" Simon laughed because of the Ivra's reaction.
The Ivra's army has a moral code not to betray or abandon their own comrade during war. Simon understood them well. Then he prepared a plan to kidnap the researchers who were observing the Ygdrassil. He used them as a hostage so Julius would be hesitant to cast a thunder.
What Simon expected to happen is happen. Julius was hesitant to cast his thunder. The bandits was slowly approaching the Ivra's army. They nearly reached the Ivra's. But then Julius gave them a real warning. Suddenly there was a flash of light
"Thunder Strike!!!", Julius shouted.
"Bllaaarrrrrr!" A big thunder struck the area between Ivra's army and the bandits. Birds flying. The brown ground suddenly became black and smoke emerged from it.
"It is your last warning, fools bandits", Julius said to Bandits. He had made up his mind.
Simon and the bandits stopped and were silent. They gulped. Although they had already knew the rumor of Julius' thunder, they were still shocked because of how big was his thunder.
"One strike and we will become ash" Simon speak to himself.
"Hwaaaaahhhh!!!" there was a man shouting from the bandits. He split the ranks of the troops. It was Bard who came and ran from behind the Bandits. He ran into Julius.
A wave of astonishment swept over Julius as he swiftly swung his left hand towards Bard, poised to unleash a thunderous force. In a nimble display of reflex, Bard deftly removed his iron helmet and sent it soaring into the sky with a resounding force. Undeterred, Bard sprinted forth. The impending thunder crackled ominously, yet fate intervened as it collided with Bard's airborne helmet. In the ensuing breathless pause, silence gripped them all. In a climactic convergence, Bard closed the distance with Julius, his axe arcing down menacingly from above.
"Eat this!" Bard shouted. Julius acted swiftly. He pulled out his sword by his right hand and parried Bard's attack.
"Praaaanggg!" Julius' sword had broken. Julius was shocked by how strong Bard's attack. Julius was about to swing his hand, but Bard threw his axe and grabbed Julius' hands.
"I got him!!! Run, Kid, find her!" Bard shouted, telling the Kid to quickly find the noblewoman.
The Kid appeared from behind the bandits. He ran and broke through the ranks of army. His task was to find the noblewoman. Simon followed him from far behind, brought some man with him.
