Hours before Kido realized, Jeanne was going to meet the nobleman. She was carried on a strecher by the guardmen.

"This way, milady", the guardman opened a door. From behind the door, a light dazzled Jeanne's eyes. As the light faded, a man appeared. He was quite tall. His eyes were slanted. Most of the noble had yellow-like hair, so he is. He wore a white suit, with Badge of Royal on it.

"Welcome, milady Jeanne. My name is Eugene A. Ivor, I'm glad to serve you here, milady", the guard had already told him about the arrival of Jeanne.

"Thank you for your welcome, landlord Eugene. I'm here to seek your protection", Jeanne asked him.

"Of course we will protect you, milady. Please take a rest while we preparing things", Eugene was very polite.

"Thank you, landlord. There is a guard of mine who are waiting outside. I can guarantee he is safe and won't harm you. Please let him take a rest too", Jeanne asked him to let Kido enter the house.

"Yes, milady. My guards will take him in. Now, please enjoy yourself here, excuse me, milady", Eugene walked out from the room.

Jeanne sat in a red foam seat. She leaned his head back on the chair. She felt relieved that she and Kido were safe. She thought that she would back to her castle and do the usual activity as a Princess. Deep in her heart, she felt that she would miss her journey. Without realizing it, she fell asleep while reminiscing about her journey.

Moments later, Eugene woke Jeanne up,
"Milady, excuse me, milady. We will take you to the capital with a cart. Please, be prepared, milady"

The Jeanne opened her eyes. She asked about Kido, "Kido will be with us, right? I mean my guard".

"He will follow us from behind", Eugene said.

The sun's light started to fade. They headed the cart and leaving the city. The horses pulling the cart was running quite fast. The streets in the city were secured so they could pass. Many citizens were curious to see their princess. Jeanne saw them from inside the cart. She flashed them a smile. Suddenly her smile was lost because she saw someone she knew. His hair was white and his eyes was black. It was Kido. Their eyes met each other.

"Eugene, why didn't my guard follow us from behind??" Jeanne questioned Eugene. But Eugene remained silent beside her. It turned out that he lied about everything.

"Where will you take me? Answer me!" Jeanne asked him again but he remained silent.

On the other side, Kido was on his way back to Jeanne. On his way, he saw a crowded at the main road. He checked it and he saw guardmen escorting a cart. When the cart passed him, he saw Jeanne was inside the cart. He followed the cart immediately but he couldn't catch up with the cart. Then he saw a horse and a carriage in his way. He searched anything to cut the rope connecting horses to the carriage. He found a knife on the carriage, then cut the rope. He rode the horse to follow Jeanne. A voice was heard when Kido was leaving,

"Hey Kid, what are you doing?", it seemed the horse was belong to the old man who saved him before.

He spurred his horse fast. The cart was pulled by two horses. It was escorted by five horsemen, 2 of them were archers, the rest were knights. They wore a full armor and white cloth. They were riding brown horses. They noticed that Kido was pursuing them.

"Sir, there is a boy approaching us", one of the horseman reported to Eugene.

"Get rid of him", Eugene ordered.

"What is exactly your plan, Eugene??", Jeane shouted at him. Yet he remained silent.

They were at a forest with a river on its side. Kido started to catch up with them from the left. The archers started to draw their bows. The knights were approaching Kido. He threw the knife he held into the first horse of the knight. The horse and the knight fell and the horse behind it stumbled because of it. Two horsemen had fallen. The rest knight was still approaching him while the archers released their arrow. Using his eyes, Kido could see the arrows direction so he could direct his horse to avoid them easily. The knight on his horse swang his long sword toward Kido's horse from Kido's right side. Then Kido jumped high from his horse toward the knight. He poked the knight's head with his right foot. He used the knight's head as a foothold to jump back towards his running horse. The knight had fell down from his horse.

The archers kept shooting Kido from their horses. Kido was avoiding the arrows and slowly approaching them from left. When he was already near the archers, one of the arrow hit Kido's horse. Actually, Kido let the arrow to hit his horse. He pulled the arrow and jumped to the left archer before his horse fell down. He stucked the arrow into the archer's shoulder through the gap in the armor. He snatched his bow then he fell the archer down and riding his horse. He took an arrow carried by the horse and stretched out his bow. The rest archer did the same thing. They aimed at each other and shot their arrow at the same time. Kido hit the archer's horse and so did the archer. Their horse was falling down. Luckily Kido had jumped onto the princess cart.

He approached the driver and threatened him to stop the cart or he would shoot him. The driver was frightened and stopped the horses. Kido shot the horses after they stopped so Eugene couldn't take Jeanne anywhere.

"Kido!!!", Jeanne shouted. Suddenly, Eugene opened the door and got out from the cart. At his waist was a rapier with a gold hilt. He laid his hand on the hilt. Kido was aiming on his head.

"I didn't expected you could go this far, Kid. You could beat my private guards without a scratch. You have such an amazing talent, as an assassin. Would you like to be my private guard?", Eugene speaked calm.
