Chapter 8:The feelings

By and bye, time passed and day had now fully disappeared into the dark.

Dylan had finished taking his bath and was now wearing the black robe that Raven had handed him.

They were loose on his skin muscular body since they were a bit large but his abs could be seen easily.

His skin was now pale white which made him look more like an Angel glowing in the light of the bulbs.

His blue eyes were as cold as usual. He placed his pillow on the headrest of the bed and leaned against it as he expressionlessly stared on his phone screen and typed from time to time as he conducted his work on the screen.

After handling the business issues, he shifted his gaze from the screen and started thinking.....

"Why did I lie to Raven about my identity ?Why do I feel nervous when am around her? Why do I keep on getting these crazy thoughts when am around her? This is just wierd...."

As he was still deep in thought,a sudden knock at the door startled him. He regained his composure and said,"Come in"

Raven peeped in the room shyly, "Dylan Winfred, I just wanted to inform you that food is ready."

"Mmmh, okay."he replied shortly. But before she could close the door, Dylan called her....

"Raven, quit calling me Dylan Winfred. We are friends now . Just call me Dylan."

She started at his daring complexion that was so breathe taking. Her eyes flickered a bit before coming back to her normal senses.

She felt shyer than before as she replied, "Okay, D-y-l-a-n "

She blushed seriously to an extent that her light brown face flushed red then she quickly slammed the door shut.

Dylan smirked due to her shy behaviour. He placed his hands at the back of his head as he rested on the headrest for some minutes.

He later wore the fluffy black male slippers he had found in the room closet then headed down for supper.

The meal went smoothly. It was very delicious to an extent that Dylan couldn't hold back his comment on the meal....

"It been a long while since I last had a home cooked meal,thanks."

His eyes flickered for a moment before his face turned expressionless again as if nothing happened.

He continued eating as he waited for Raven's response...

"Thanks but the compliment should really go to my mum for she has been my mentor "

At the moment she said this, he drank the whole glass of water that was next to himas if he was on fire.

He put down his cutleryand said before walking away, "I have lost my appetite but thanks for the meal."

He wiped his lips with a napkin and then walked away hastily.

Raven wondered if she had said anything wrong at the moment,"Oh no, maybe I did. Good Lord, me and my big mouth. What have I done....."

She slapped her lips then stood up to follow Dylan who had gone to his room already....

Inside the guestroom.....

Dylan let out a deep sigh and then started pacing about the room.

He touched his forehead and looked down at his palm which was filled with sweat

He felt a strong headache that forced him to sit down while holding his pounding head in his hands due to the pain.

He heard a sudden knock at the door but as he reached out to open it, he felt dizzy and fell to the ground half conscious.

Raven heard the loud thud so she pushed the door open only to land her eyes on the half conscious Dylan trembling on the ground.

She was so stunned and scared so she ran towards him and tried to shake him to wake up but after seeing no response,she helped him up to lay on the bed.

She covered him up with the bed cover and touched on his sweaty forehead only to realise that he was running a high fever.

She went downstairs and returned with a small basin containing luke warm water plus a small towel.

She dipped it in the warm water and placed it on her forehead to cool his body temperature.

After a long while,she called the only professional doctor she knew who was Debby, her elder sister.

She narrated the entire incident to Debby but was shocked by the question she asked,"O-M-G!! My little Raven has a male in her house, really? This is just shocking."

Raven got a bit impatient so she yelled,"Are you gonna help me or not?

Debby laughed ,"Fine, fine. Go buy him these pills......."

In the morning.........

Dylan slowly regained consciousness.
He tried to sit upright in the bed but he felt something on his forehead.

On reaching out to remove it,he felt it's wetnessand felt irritated so he threw it aside throwing it on the floor.

As he sat on the bed, he noticed Raven was sitting on the floor with her head well rested on the bed.

He smirked,"She must have dozed off."

She was sleeping peacefully with her long black hair covering her face.The morning sun was slowly lighting up her light brown skin.

Her long black eye lashes were peacefully shut together. He looked at her slightly sharp nose and her rosy pink lips that produced soft moans and grumbles as she rested .

She even smiled a bit in her sleep revealing her cute dimplesbut after some minutes, the dimples disappeared.

Dylan was mesmerized at how someone could be so beautiful even in her sleep.

Dylan moved closer to her and placed the hair covering her face behind her ear revealing the cute black mole on her neck which made her look more like a diva.

He stood up from bed and carefully lifted her onto the bed and covered her with the sheets.

As he placed her on the bed, her hair moved downwards revealing the beauty spot on her neck that made him get this great sensation of wanting to kiss her neck.

He looked away to control himself and unplugged his phone from the charger.He cleared the message on the phone and stood up to take a bath.

He hit his forehead to clear away the image of Raven but it only made things worse...............
