Chapter 13:Give Me A Chance

In the rain......

The rain was just increasing more and more but Raven didn't even feel its impact. She just wandered aimlessly on the streets lost in her own thoughts.

She sighed,"I have fallen in love, in one night, with a stranger. I can't believe am crying over a guy who feels nothing for me and doesn't even know how I feel for him."

She scolded herself as tears rolled down her eyes.

She continued crying over and over again and got more and soaked in the rain.

She heard a familiar voice from behind call her name and said to herself,"Bravo Ravy. You are really losing your mind. Now you are also imagining his voice? You're nuts."

She walked faster as the voice became louder and louder. She scotted down in the rain, shut her eyes closed and her ears too with the palms of her hands thinking she was really loosing it.

This was until she felt someone scot infront of her and say her name in a soft and warm voice,"Raven, what's wrong?"

She opened her eyes slowly only to face the guy who was the main cause of all this madness, Dylan. She also removed her hands from her ears and stood up.

He too also stood up without taking his eyes off her .Her eyes were all red due to the tears and walking in the rain. Her hair too was soaked in the rain to an extent that her hair band had fallen out and so, her hair was loose with hair strands stuck to her face.

She hadn't realized this yet.She tucked the loose hair strands behind her left ear as she stood up to look around for it but was interrupted by Dylan.

"Are you okay Raven? I went to class to pick you up but you had already left. Why did you leave early? If it wasn't for the gate man, I wouldn't have found you? And why are your eyes red? You made me so worried."

A tear dropped from Raven's right eye as she yelled angrily,"Worried! Really? You don't have to pretend no more. What was I even thinking? You were so happy back there."

Dylan furrowed his brows innocently making Raven more furious,"Stop acting all innocent. You were busy snuggling with you girlfriend and now you are here now!! Go back to her."

Dylan became even more confused which made ran Raven loose it making her punch him in the chest.

Seeing no reaction, she continued to punch him even more till she became tired and started crying again.

She then felt Dylan pull her into a warm embrace as he patted her back gently.

She felt so weak in his slim muscular and sobbed,"Why did you do this to me? Why did you make me fall for you yet you were just playing with me? Why?"

She felt him pull her out of the embrace. Dylan used his index finger and middle finger to raise her head to face him since he was about taller than her.
