Chapter 5: A closer bond

So the ride continued......

On their way to the restaurant,it had started drizzling and so Raven had changed her mind and told Dylan to drop her home since they were close to it.

"Hey,could you drop me home, we are close to it."

Dylan asked,"Really? Which street?"

"Winford street.No 185. "

"Oh, okay. Let's go "

And off they went.....

Dylan rode steadily even though the rain drops were making it very hard to see the road clearly.

Dylan rode steadily not to make Raven feel uncomfortable and he was also suprised at his behavior because he had never personally drove a girl home before.

He usually sent his butler , Gilbert to drive the girls he dated home.But this was different.

He actually drove a girl to her home after him pleading to drive her home.The girl was really something special.

Without him realizing it,he was actually smiling a bit but after realization,he quickly made his face expressionless but asmall smile still appeared at the corner of his sexy pink lips.

They reached their destination but the weather had changed so rapidly that it was now raining hard at the time they arrived at Winford street.

As Raven got off the bike,she looked up at the sky which was raining with lots of lightning and thunder.

She then took off her helmet and said to Dylan,"I don't think it's very safe for you to ride on your in this weather ."

She first heistated for a moment and took a deep breathe before adding,"You can spend the night over at my place tonight."

He looked at her with a surprised expression on his face."This girl really had the guts to invite a man into her house .Alone? At night? "

"She was just surprising " Dylan exclaimed in his heart.

Seeing no response, she got abit nervous thinking that Dylan thought she was shameless.So she lowered her head and said,

"I have two bedrooms and since it's raining had this is my thank you gift,Dylan"

Sensing her shame,Dylan noded and took off his helmet.

As he looked at her,she looked like a delicate light brown skinned doll with her shinny long black hair wet bringing out it's curls with some hair strands stuck to her face for the drizzles had disorganized her hair.

In her eyes,Dylan looked like a male god with his striking new eyes and blonde hair which were astonishing.With just one glimpse,you could easily fall for this guy.

As she was still admiring the guy,his voice snapped her out of her crazy thoughts,"Could you please open the gate now so that we can enter because am allergic to coldness."

She nodded quickly and opened the gate then she opened the automatic garage door with her keywhere Dylan packed his bike.

Raven's house was very bright with so many lights,simple and cozy. It wasn't too small since it had two floors.

The upstairs floor had the two bedrooms and main bathroom which wasn't very used since every room had it's own bathroom.

The ground floor was where the dinning kitchen sitting room and study room were.

The house was mainly painted white and black inside showing how clean she was and how carefully she handled everything she had(this was also Dylan's favourite colour)

The basement of the house was where the laundry room was.The entire house had a lavender scent just like Raven's hair.

The pictures of her family and her were carefully placed on the walls of the house mainly the sitting room and the corridor stare case that led to first floor.

And though it was dark outside,the bright lights of the house made the garden of roses and lavenders around the house easily seen.She was too organized for life.

Dylan took notice of all this and adored it since he was also organized personally.

(To be honest,it was Gilbert who organized everything but hey,the boss takes credit of everything.)

From the garage,Raven welcomed him into the living room and said,

"Welcome to my humble abode please, follow me to timely bedroom to take a shower so that I can prepare you a meal to warm up before going to bed.I wouldn't want your allergies acting u".

Dylan smiled unnoticed at the corned of his lips since Raven was looking cute as she raised her hands as a gesture of welcoming him into her house.

When they reached the room,it was luxuriously white and blue where by everything was well organized.she opened the inner bathroom which was shinny and clean with white tiles and blue tiled walls with a nice scent too.

Everything was well prepared so he stepped into the bathroom to take a closer look.On seeing this,Raven opened the nearby closet and picked out black robe for males.

On seeing the robe, a strange surge passed through his heart that he didn't understand.

His eyes flickered with anger.So, he asked,

"Oh, I don't wanna wear your boyfriend's robe to cause conflicts Raven."

Takenby surprise,Raven laughed heartily to an extent that tears rolled out of her round eyes.

She really looked cute since the smile revealed her cute dimpleson her cheeks.

Dylan still didn't understand why she burst out in laughter.

Before he could react, she finally said,

"Holly father, holly father. This is just amazing. I'm really sorry but I really couldn't help it."

"I really have no boyfriend. Infact, I've never ever had one. I just buy male garments to show my friends that I am dating someone so that they can actually stopped nagging me."

"I just really feel out of place when my friends are talking and bragging about their boyfriends. And so, to fit in with the gang,I just do this."

"So, don't worry about anything."

"Anyway, enough of this nonsense, I have a meal to prepare and Incase you don't belivemy words, check the robe. I am sure there is a price tag on the robe somewhere so feel comfy "

With all this said, she walked out of the room still wondering why she opened up to a guy she didn't know much about on her personal issues...

Meanwhile in the guestroom.....

Dylan was still shocked at what just happened. He tooked at the price tag on the collar of the robeand recalled what Raven had told him.

For some reason, he felt a strong surge go through his chest cavity.

He swallowed hard and this caused his Adam's apple to bob up and down.

He rubbed his chest due to wierd sensation he felt. Suddenly, his phone rang.

He noticed it was his butler Gilbert calling and so, he picked it up .

"Hello ,Sir."

"What's wrong Gilbert?"

"S-Sir,it's kinda late so I just called to check in on you since Madam is worried sick about you."

"Have you given her the medication?"

"Yes, sir. I have."

"Good. I am not coming home tonight. Tell her not to be too dramatic as if she cares for she failed to care for June."

"H-hello young master, are you still there?" The call had already been ended on the other end of the line.

Gilbert sadly shook his head as he went to comfort the Lady of the House. The young master hadn't really forgiven his mum after what happened five years ago.
