OLLIES POV
To put it how it is, I am freaking out. Practice ended at 3:00 and I got home at 3:20. I have a little over an hour before Charlie gets here. That's not enough time. The house is dirty, my room is dirty. Oh my gosh this is too much.
Wait. Why am I so worried, he's just my friend, I have no reason to worry. My thoughts are interrupted by my sister coming through the front door.
"Why do you look like you're going to rip out your hair?" She asks, genuinely worried. "Do you have a girl coming over?"
"What? No. Charlie's coming over." I say.
"Okay then why are you worrying. He's just one of your dude bro friends." She says chuckling. "Seriously though, why are you worried?"
Truth is, I don't even know why. Its weird. Like whenever Colin, Matthew, or brodie come over I'm not worried at all. Not even with Nick. I don't understand.
"Listen I just gonna need you to not be here. Like in your room or something. We're watching the bruins game in the living room." I say instead of my internal worries.
She purses her lips before saying, "Hm. Well I'm having Logan over and we're also going to be watching the bruins game. So seems like you're going to have to share the space." She smiles once she's finished.
"Can't you go over to his place?" I ask. I know Logan has a nice place, he's also my team, he's a junior and he's been dating Sam since her freshman year. So they've been together for over a year and I actually like Logan, I think they're good for each other.
"Why do you need the space for yourself?" She asks.
"You and Logan are gonna do things I don't wanna see. Even though you shouldn't even be doing them. You're 16 I might add." I give her a stern look.
"Don't act like you weren't kissing when you were my age." She's right I guess you could say I was kissing. But in all honesty I kissed Ronny and tried very hard to avoid doing it again. Again that doesn't help my not being gay case. But that may or may not be just because it's Ronny. It's inconclusive.
"Fine, I guess you can stay." I let up.
"We would've stayed either way." She mumbled before being interrupted by the doorbell. For a second I thought Charlie was early and I started to worry, but then I heard a familiar sound of squeaking, courtesy of my sister when she sees Logan.
"Sup, man." I said when he came through the doorway.
"Hey." He replied. We weren't really friends, not talking unless we needed to. Which was fine seeing as he's younger than I am and we shared no classes together.
They went upstairs to do God knows what, that I didn't wanna think about.

4:30 rolled around soon enough and I saw a nice white truck pull into my driveway.
Charlie was wearing a devils gray hoodie and black sweatpants. I couldn't help but like when he dressed casual like that. His hair was messed up from the wind, but it looked good, surprisingly enough.
When I opened the door to greet him I was met with dark brown eyes staring into mine. Since he's 3 inches taller than me there is a bit of a height difference, but not that noticeable.
"Hey. You gonna let me in?" He asked. Oops. I was staring again.
"Oh yeah sorry. I was just looking at your terrible sweatshirt choice." I said, laughing and trying to hide my embarrassment.
