06. Magical Beasts x Final Arrival

LEORIO WHINES AS YOU AND GON WALK SIDE BY SIDE, "This was only supposed to be two hours!" he whines as Kurapika sighs.

"It's right there, and it took us four hours because you started to whine during the first hour," he says as you sigh.

"Big brother, we did a lot of running together before we left home!" you chastise as Leorio gasps.

"Don't take their side!" he yells as you close your eyes.

"Big brother, I have always felt slightly annoyed by your slowness. It would be best if you worked out more as I asked!" you say, skipping to the house while waiting for the other three to come near you.

You're finally ready to get through this; you want to become a full-fledged hunter as quickly as possible!

WHEN YOU OPEN THE DOOR, your eyes go wide at seeing a Kiriko, a bipedal magical beast, holding a woman in its grasp.

You catch your brother's briefcase as he pulls out his knife. "[Name], get behind me!" Leorio shouts as you do, "Big brother, that man is injured. I'm going to start emergency treatment!" you yell, running to the scene while Kiriko looks surprised at the fact you ran right towards it as it jumps over you.

It didn't attack me, you thought to yourself as you slid under its legs. Gon and Kurapika were both surprised by the events as Leorio glared at you.

"[Name]!" he starts as you open the briefcase.

"Scold me later! Gon, Kurapika, go out and save the lady! Big brother and I will administrate emergency treatment!" you bark out, used to giving out directions since you spent so much time at the clinic with your older brother and his colleagues back then.

"Got it!" the three boys yell as you sit by the man's side who's talking about his wife and how he wants to see her.

"Be quiet, you have injuries." you claim, opening his shirt to see the large gashes on his waist, "Big brother, tell me what I need to do," you say as Leorio cleans his hand, putting on gloves as he hands you a similar pair.

"First, we need to ensure our germs aren't getting into the wound; get him something to bite down on. A towel, a shirt, anything... I'm going to disinfect the wound." Leorio says as you nod, getting up to find a cloth for the man to bite down on.

KURAPIKA CATCHES THE WOMEN AS SHE FALLS FROM THE TREE; Gon is reckless. He thinks as he can hear rustling in the bushes as he looks over. He could ask about the tattoos on her he saw later.

"Kurapika, are you okay!?" You screamed out as Kurapika held the woman in his arms after Gon had chased after the Kiriko.

[Name] wouldn't abandon an injured man, that test... both they and Leorio had gotten offended over the woman's question. They'd never leave. He thought to himself as he smacked "you" in the face with the bokken, as "your" appearance shifted into a Kiriko.

"How'd you know?" it asked as Kurapika held the woman closer.

"[Name] wouldn't leave an injured patient," he says as the Kiriko laughs.

"Should I have chosen their brother?" it asked as Kurapika smirked.

"Leorio wouldn't either. Who do you think taught [Name] their morals?" he asked; while he thought Leorio was a hotheaded man, he would agree that both [Name] and him seem to have high morals when it comes to the lives of others and the lives of each other.
