01. You x Died

YOU SIT AT THE LIBRARY, HEADPHONES PLUGGED IN AS YOUR EYES DRIFT TO THE TUFF OF WHITE-HAIRED AND BLACK-HAIRED SIBLINGS. The two whisper to each other as you go back to watching the newest thing on Hunters, a special type of people who went through a trial to prove that they're strong.

You admired them, and you wanted to be strong like them too, but the hunter you admired most was Leorio Paladiknight. He was young for a strong hunter, only being 21 by the time he became one of the Zodiac members and even was a final runner-up for being a president, in your eyes he was impressive.

"Please, keep your groans to yourself." the white-haired boy said as he sat next to you as you blinked.

"Sorry," you say as you watch the presidential debate of Leorio and others on rerun.

"It's Leorio." the boy mutters as you look at him, confused as he looks away from you, it reminded you of a cat who wanted your attention, but didn't want to be obvious about it. It was pretty cute.

"I'm [Name] [L/name], it's nice to meet you," you whisper as the boy nods.

"I'm Killua, this is my sister, Alluka. We're traveling the world together," he says as the long-haired girl waves to you and you wonder how she could be so pretty. You were sort of envious, if you had looked like that escaping your family's thumb would be easy and you could have any pick of the draw. How lucky for her.

"Can I have a piece of your hair?" the girl asked as Killua's face seemed to shift into something uncomfortable.

"Nanika." he hissed out and you wondered if that was the girl's nickname, plucking a strand of your hair you smile at her.

"Here you go, Alluka-chan," you say as the boy blinks.

"You're not weirded out?" he says, seemingly sighing in relief as you smile.

"Nah, just recently I had a marriage prospect ask for a pair of my underwear," you say with a shudder of your shoulders as the boy blinks.

"Underwear?" he asks in disgust as you smile and nod a yes to him.

"Underwear," you confirm to him as he stares at you like you're insane for laughing at the situation. It was pretty regular for you, you had always attracted the creepiest of creeps. It was almost destiny for you.

"Ne, ne, [Name], give me your gum," Alluka says as Killua's face is horrified. You smile as you reach into your bag and go to give her a piece of unchewed gum, but Killua stops you.

"She wants the gum you chewing," he says as you nod.

"I'll wrap it up," you tell him as he says a thank you and you do as you said to him and wrap it before giving it to the girl.

"Alluka-chan must make a lot of strange requests, she's still far better than most people I've met," you tell him as you answer another math question, the boy peeking over your work as he wows.

"You're good at this," he says as you smile.

"I think I'm pretty average," you tell him with a smile as the girl tugs on your shirt.

"Give me your headphones," she says as you do as told, you can always get them back from her later before they leave. It's just a strange girl making strange requests, her brother and she probably don't get to go out often.
