Y/N's pov

"Nick let me in, please"

He opened the door of  his  room furiousely and walked downstairs without even looking at me.

I had been knocking on his door for around ten minutes without getting an answer. Alicia stayed downstairs with Madi to tell her what had happened.

I followed him with the hope that he would eventually give up and listen to me. And luckily for me, Madi was on my side and didn't let him go back up until he listened to me.

"You lied to me, this whole time! Didn't even bother to tell me what was going on and now you want me to listen to you?!"

"I know, I know I have no right to be asking you to listen to me but-"

"Damn right you don't" He interrupted me, before walking to the door.

"Nick, wait!" I tried to stop him but there was no use, he had already slammed the door shut.

I sighed and sat down on a chair, covering my face with my hands. I was doing my best to hold my tears, but with every second that went by, it became more difficult.

"Leave him for now, he will eventually want to know the truth" I heard Madi say.

I removed my hands from my face to look at her and Alicia.

"I think he'd rather want me to take my explanation to the grave with me before talking to me again. He hates me"

"Y/N, you're his best friend, he doesn't hate you"

"Well it seems like he does"

"He's just mad at you, that's all. You know very well how he gets when he's not okay" Madi said.

I did infact know how he behaved when he wasn't alright. I knew exactly what he did, and I had no doubt of what he was doing, and I caused it.

"I just don't know what to do" I closed my eyes and leaned my head to the back.

Alicia grabbed my hand, "Hey look at me..." I opened my eyes and saw hers. Those beautiful green eyes that have been driving me crazy since the very first day. "Everything will be okay, I promise. We'll fix this, together"

I couldn't help but smile.

Even when my world was falling apart, she could build it all up again just with her presence.

"You should rest. It's already late and I know today hasn't been easy for you" She said before moving her free hand to caress my cheek.

"Yeah, I probably should go home-"

"Why don't you stay?" Madi said interrupting me, "You can stay in Alicia's room, right honey?"

Alicia looked at her a little surprised, and I have to say a part of me was surprised too.

Madi knew.

"I mean, if that's okay with Alicia..." I said before squeezing her hand a little.

She looked at me, and then looked at her my mom.

"Yeah, you can... uhm stay with me, Y/N" She looked at me again and smiled, before completely changing her expression to a worried one. "I just- I need to go do something right now"

"Is everything alright? Are you okay?" I said standing up.

"Yeah, I have to go somewhere real quick, I'll be right back" She kissed my cheek and left before I could say anything.

Madi was just staring at me, and it was kind of intimidating.

"Well, we are having a conversation now that we're alone" She said and seemed to be extremely serious.
