Alicia's pov

I wished for Y/N and I to work out, but I guess the universe had different plans for us...

*(Flashback - 4:37 pm '2 days before' - The Clark's house)*

Y/N's pov

"Y/N!" I heard someone call my name, interrupting my conversation wth Nick. "Hi, I'm Daisy, you know Alicia's bestfriend-"

"Yes I know who you are, we've been here at the Clark's house at the same time many times before" I interrupted her. I saw Alicia roll her eyes behind her, which caused a small chuckle to leave my lips.

"Oh yeah, you're right..."

"Are you going to tell us why you came to talk to Y/N?" Nick asked Daisy after she zoned out for a second.

"Yeah yeah, uhm... I wanted to invite you to my birthday party. It will be tomorrow at my house and you're allowed to take a partner" 

"Uhh, you'll be able to take a hot girl" Nick said after slightly hitting my shoulder.

"Why bother? I can just find one at the party" I winked at him playfully making him laugh as I laughed too.

"I'm sure you'll find a slut" She whispered.

"Excuse me?" I said looking at her.

"Oh nothing, you just never change and probably never will. Now can you hurry up and give Daisy an answer so that we can go? I dislike being around you" She said before rolling her eyes again.

Ouch.

"Uhm... I'll be there Daisy, thanks for the invitation" I said without taking my sight out of the little Clark. You could tell that everyone was uncomfortable after had Alicia said.

"Great then... I'll see you there, and you too Nick. If you don't go I'll make sure you're in a lot of trouble" You could tell Daisy as being serious when she said that to him.

Nick only raised his hands in defeat and nodded.

"Okay, you have an answer, now let's go back to my room please" Alicia said before grabbing Daisy's arm and dragging her back up stairs.

"Well that was uncomfortable. Did something happen between you and my sister?"

"She's never liked me Nick. It's no surprise that she's acting like that" I answered, trying to sound the most convincing as possible.

"No, I know. But I thought you two were in good terms now"

"Yeah no, that was just... a moment. Anyway, we should go pick up Tara before she kills us for being late" I said not wanting to talk more about Alicia.

"Tara... she's pretty hot" He said with a smirk plastered on his face.

"Ha! Yeah, you and her? Not happening"

"And how would you know? I'm a pretty nice guy, and would totally treat her right" I heard him say while we were walking towards the car.

"What can I say? You're just not her type" I said after we both got in.

"Who said that? How can you be sure?"

"Because she slept with me, and you and I are kind of opposites" I was trying to mess with him.

"Please, if there's someone that is literaly the same as me is you Y/N"

"Wrong, I don't do drugs" I looked at Alicia's room window and saw her lookinng at us, just to take her phone out of her pocket right after.
