By the time he got to work, Rudra was excited. This was the day he can get to know more about the girl who stole his breath without even a small glance while at the temple the other day. He saw the file on his desk and took a deep breath. "Moment of truth" he thought to himself as he opened the file and a picture of her fell out. For the second time in his life, he almost lost his breath, just gazing at her beautiful eyes. "I'm truly hopeless" he thought to himself as he continued ruffling through the papers to get to know as much information as he could about her.

He excitedly flipped the page back to see if he could find anything more about her but was horribly disappointed to see that the back of the page was also empty. He angrily called the detective assigned to look up information about her and yelled "What is this? Do you call this a full bio? She doesn't have any social media accounts? How is that even possible?" The detective replied: "Sir, I'm sorry but her family is extremely conservative and this girl is also religious so she is neither allowed to or wants to have a social media account. As a result, I couldn't find much information on her." the detective told him.
Rudra was angry at first. With who he was angry, he couldn't tell, if it was the detective or his Diya. "What a beautiful name to a beautiful girl," he thought to himself as he once again recalled how she herself was looking like the moon surrounded by hundreds of diyas the other day. "It wouldn't kill her to have a (public) Instagram," he thought. But he immediately removed the thought from his mind, as he knew he wouldn't like other men seeing what was his. He liked how much importance she gave to religion and her conservative dress-style. While other girls tried to flaunt their beauty with the clothes they wear, she tries to hide it by wearing plain grey or light-colored clothes, he chuckled to himself. Little did she know, that there is someone she cannot hide anything from no matter how much she tries.
However, that still didn't abate his anger. Lost in a daze, he forgot to cut the call, so he abruptly switched off his phone and then proceeded to crumple up the paper and throw it away, but he bought the candid photo of her, covered in a veil, wearing a light-red plain dress without any ornaments, close to his heart and kissed the place where her forehead was in the photo, wishing with all his heart that he could do the same to her in-person one day. He then proceeded to bring out a frame and carefully placed her picture inside it, while putting it at the center of his desk, where his attention remained for the rest of the day during his work.
Secretly, he was happy that the detective wasn't able to get much information about her. It gives him a chance to do things the old-fashioned way. "Diya, you are in for a roller-coaster, baby," he thought to himself as he formed his first plans of stalking her, starting at the temple where he first saw her.
