Rudra's grip on his lighter tightened as he lit up a cigarette and started smoking it. It was outrageous - the way she treated him at the hospital, like he was a madman, which he was, but in his defense, he was only mad for her. He was berserk when he went back to his office that day, demanding his PA to work overtime and get him the soonest possible appointment with the CEO of the Apollo Group of Hospitals. Luckily, his PA found one the next day morning, to the chagrin and annoyance of Apollo's CEO.

Poor Diya, on the other hand, shook by the incident that happened at the hospital, was eventually persuaded to take the day off, which she did. She went home further becoming anxious and developed a migraine as she became afraid that her parents might finally find out about her job. This was the only peace she had so she really didn't want them to ever find out. So, she quietly and tiredly went straight to bed that day despite not even getting a wink of sleep. She was already sleep deprived to start with and now a certain man with blue eyes and slicked-black hair has ruined even that. She had no idea what his problem even was and became even more scared that he might be stalking her as she vaguely remembered seeing him at the temple the day before that. How am I supposed to tell my parents about this? What if they find out? were the questions running through her mind as she tried to get some sleep but couldn't due to her dismay.

By the time Siddharth Tapa, a middle-aged man known as the CEO of the Apollo Group of Hospitals reached the Raghuvanshi Group of Industries, he was annoyed. He hated being the one to be called in and even more angry seeing the attitude of the young CEO, Rudra. He went into an office and waited for him to come - another thing he hated, as he wasn't patient when it comes to going through things he absolutely hates. Rudra walked into the room about 20 minutes later and sat across from him arrogantly, leaning back. He went straight to the point: "There is a young doctor working at one of your hospitals in Manali, Diya. I want you to fire her as soon as possible" he told Siddharth. Now, Siddharth was even more angry. He didn't care about pleasantries or small talk but why would he fire a young girl for no reason? He recalled seeing her during first interview. She was brilliant and talented. All their patients in that branch always requested to see her despite her short work hours. At this point, Diya was practically running the hospital. So, Siddharth decided to play around and ask him an important question before he said anything "Why?" he asked to which Rudra quipped "None of your business." Finally, Siddharth had enough of him and told him "No." Rudra was surprised at hearing this and rudely asked "What?" So, Siddharth more clearly voiced "No."

"Why?" - Rudra

"I will not let her go." - Siddharth

"But why?" - Rudra

"None of your business" - Siddharth smartly replied

"I will give you 1 billion" - Rudra

"I will not let her go even if you were to give me your whole company." Siddharth

Now, Rudra was frustrated. He offered him a bribe but he refused so he started threatening him.

"Then, watch what I do to your companies. I will spoil your reputation and make sure you have no business partners" - Rudra

"I am more than happy and capable of doing the same to you but it would be worse on your company as you are so reliant on so many other companies. We, on the other hand, are self-sufficient and whatever you do cannot even make a dent in our reputation or profit. Besides, you do know that our stock has always been 20% higher than yours, right? You are not in a position to threaten me." - Siddharth

Now, Rudra was speechless. His stupid PA didn't have the thought to do some research and give him something so he was prepared for the meeting. He thought he could get away with being arrogant and threatening but he was very wrong.

"I think we have talked more than we needed to today. I don't waste my time with useless or arrogant people. I only came here because your PA's job was on the line but now I realize he is working for a company that will only go downhill due to their CEO's attitude. He better look for another job soon. I am surprised he is even sticking around with such a pleasurable person like you" Siddharth replied sarcastically, and walked out of the door. He was satisfied to leave that annoying b****** behind. He had enough of his attitude and couldn't stand his presence anymore. Soon, he went back to work, with a mental note to personally talk to Diya as he didn't want the young, innocent girl to be affected by this stupid fool.

Rudra, who was left behind, was now reveling in anger. He blamed his PA for the entire ordeal and became angry even with himself for not conducting the meeting better. He lost his only way to professionally gain control over Diya. He thought this would be his chance to start moulding her and get close to her to show his dominance. But, instead she indirectly showed her dominance over him. She was at a hospital/business he couldn't even touch and proved how important she was to the hospital. Speaking of that, he hadn't had the chance to see her throughout the whole day today. He was really missing her. So, he called his personal detective and found out that she is planning to go to the temple again today.

"Wait for me, my darling, I am going to pay you another visit today."
