Chapter 6 - Pancakes

Chell jumped and flipped in the air to dodge the bulits. She shot a portal behind them and one infront of her in mid air. She fell through it nocking down all of the turrents. Quickly she ran back threw the portal, and closed off the portals before one of the turrents shot her threw the portal.

Wheatly sighed, "Will you please stop takeing risks like that?"

Chell shook her head. You wont stop doing stuff they told you you would die doing. She thought. Chell smiled up at him. Wheatly stopped talking and he continued on his rail leading the way.

Chell woke up. That was odd, usally her nightmares consisted of Wheatly betraying her or when she faught him. But this time she drempt about before then. Before Wheatly's betrayle.

She stood up and got ready for the day. When she was done she stepped out to find. Lily? Lily was helping Wheatly cook something.

"Oh hi Chell!" Lily greated her.

"Wheatly told me you were still asleep so we decided to make breakfest." She explained.

"How in the world did you get in?" Chell asked useing sine langauge.

"Oh, he let me in." Lily said glanceing at Wheatly.

Oh really? Chell thought. Wheatly gave her an nervouse look. She crossed her arms and marched up to him. He was looking even more scared now.

She used sign langauge while Lily wasnt looking, "How did you untie yourself? Also dont tell Lily she cant know about the facility."

Wheatly rather terribly tried to replicate the sines he had been showed before, (he was taught to recognize sine langauge not use it.) "Y- You leave me not tied."

Chell made an internal sigh. How could she forget. But he didnt kill her that ment he really ment it when he said he wouldnt kill her. But what if he didnt just to get her trust so he could murder her later. But why wait? Chell knew she was being periniod.

Chell looked over at Lily decideding she should help. So Chell asked what she could do. When they were done Lily and Chell sat at the table to eat some pancakes. Wheatly however couldn't eat so he sat on the floor drawing.

"Maybe you should get him a pet." Lily sugested.

"What?" Chell asked useing sine langauge.

"You said so yourself that he's been getting restless." Lily continued, "I cant visit everytime you have to leave him alone. Haveing a pet would be good for him."

"Okay ... what do you have in mind?" Chell asked in sine langauge.

"Why dont I draw a cat and a dog I'll hold them up and he can pick his favorite, then we'll get him that animal as a pet." Lily explained.

Okay so Lily was a bit silly but it wasnt a bad idea. "Okay" Chell answered.

They finished eating and Lily began her drawings. Chell watched Wheatly. He was traseing his finger along the floor in circles. Lily was right, he does look sad- I mean bored! Chell thought. As if her little voice was giveing her a smug look. I didnt forgive him and I never will. Chell thought determand to keep her hope locked up.

"Hi Wheatly! Which drawing do you like more?" Lily asked, holding up the drawings.

"Did you draw them?" He asked glanseing at Chell.

"Yup!" Lily answered not noticeing.

"Oh uh ... that one." He said pointing at the drawing of the cat.

"Okay thanks!" Lily said as she walked over to Chell who was washing dishes.

"We have a winner!" Lily said holding up the drawing of a cat.

Chell nodded and finished up.

"Should we take him to go see if there are any cats for sale?" Lily whispered.

"What! No, he's never been outside before what if he freaks out?" Chells sined.

"Oh now we have to!" Lily said emedietly breaking her whisper.

Chell sighed internaly. There was no getting passed Lily once she had an idea in her head.

"Fine" She agreed in sine language.

Lily clapped her hands excitedly. As Chell went to go get Wheatly.

"Come on Wheatly were going outside." Chell used sine langauge.

"Wha- what!?" Wheatly asked.
