It's

been a week since the fight with Cody, and we still haven't talked

about it. He won't give me the time of day, and Derek has been

getting in the way of me trying to talk to him. Cody won't answer my

calls. I haven't heard from Jacob either.. he probably thinks I left

them.. Although I promised him I wouldn't. Tomorrow is graduation.

Even if he doesn't want too, he'll have to see me. He wouldn't miss

graduation. He was a teacher. He'd be there. And so would Jacob.

I

miss Cody. I miss laying in his arms. I missed the way he told me he

loved me.. I can;t believe that fight happened the day after he told

me he loved me. I lay in bed, where I have been the past week. I

sigh, and hug the pillow closer to me. I hear a knock on the door and

I let them knock. I could care less.. Unless it's Cody.. I don't

wanna see anyone. I stare at the gown hanging on my closet door. I

can't believe I'm 24 hours away from graduating. How did I make it

this far? Oh yeah.. I had Cody Jacob, Jennifer, and Jace... Now.. not

so much. Jennifer and Jace, yes.. the love of my life.. not so much.

I

hear the door bell ring repeatedly. I sigh, and stand up. I walk down

and open the door. My eyes widen.

"Get

lost, fucker. You ruined everything!" I go to close the door but he

stops it and pushes it open.

"Kaitlyn.

I need you to go to Cody. He's locked himself in his room. He won't

open it for anyone. Not even Jacob."

"What

the fuck did you do, Derek?!"

"I

didn't do anything... Look, I'm sorry.. Okay? I was being selfish. I

didn't realize how much you two cared about each other.. How much YOU

meant to him and Jacob... I didn't realize..."

"NO.

You didn't realize! If Cody hurt himself, I'm going to fuck you up

first."

I

rush out, my mind whirling. My poor darling. I run to their house

without stopping. I run into the house and see Jacob on the couch,

watching TV.

"Jacob..

kiddo.. wheres your father??"

He

looks up and points to the kitchen. I run into the kitchen. I breathe

out.

"Cody..."

He

turns, "Kaitlyn? What are you doing here?"

"Derek

came to my house... told me that you locked yourself in your room..

and then apologized.."

"Yeah..

he told me that he lied to me about you being with another person..."

"You

never called..."

"I

know." He turns to look out the kitchen window, with a glass of

water.

"Why?"

I look at him, nervously.

"Because..

it doesn't matter.. I was a fool.. I'm to old for you. You're going

off to college. Why continue this relationship when you're leaving?"

"Are

you serious, Cody? We should continue this relationship.. The day

we've been wanting since we started seeing each other is tomorrow.. I

graduate tomorrow. We can be together in public after tomorrow... I

love you, Cody. Don't you love me?"

He

sighs, and turns to me. "Yes.. That's why I'm doing this... You

need to go out there and live your life before we could ever settle..

You're young. You're... beautiful.. flawless. You need to go to

college, and have fun. Live out your college party years."

"Cody.."

"I'm

sorry, Kaitlyn. We're over. You can stay in Jacob's life. But, we are

no longer together."

I

look down, blinking rapidly to fight back tears. "Wow... Alright.

Bye Cody." I back up and turn. I walk into the living room, and

kiss Jacob's head before walking out.

I

walk home feeling numb and brokenhearted.

All

I want is the love of my life back.

Sorry if this is sorted weird. When I go to publish it they only keep the first letter of the sentence and the rest before. And it's the only one bolded. It's strange. I couldn't fix it. It made me mad. lol

So this chapter is kinda saddening. You guys are gonna KILL me. It about made me cry.

But the next chapter will make me BAWL. GRADUATION BABY!! It'll take me back to my graduation and make me cry. lol
