Harry woke up the next morning and limped down the great hall. He made it there without incident by occasionally leaning against a wall or two. He sat down at his table and fixed himself a small serving of porridge. He was the one boy one currently in the hall, other than the Headmaster, and a few Ravenclaws. He ate quietly, feeling as if someone was watching him. After breakfast he went to the library, it was a Saturday and he needed to catch up on his studies. His family and friends had been helping him, but he was determined to get ahead of where he was. He was currently on the last defense book his father had sent with him, and he needed more. Just as he sat down at a table, Ronald Weasley walked up to him, "the Headmaster wants to see you in his office." Harry looks at him before standing on unsteady feet. He nods before shakily walking to the headmasters office. Once inside he is told to sit down, and he does so. "Now, my boy, I'm sure you would rather not be a Slytherin any longer. After all, it has so far brought you nothing but pain, therefore you'll be resorted. Don't worry, you'll be resorted before you leave my office, I'm sure you'll love your new house." All Harry can do is stare at him, until finally he says, "No thank you. I quite like Slytherin. I'm aware that it has caused me to be put in danger, but I have people I care about. I know I would have to stop being friends with my best friends if I left my house, so I refuse. Thank you again for the offer, but I'm quite happy where I am." The headmaster for a moment sits there in silence, before pulling his wand and casting, "Crucio!" Albus holds it for just under 8 minutes, before canceling the spell. Harry all the while holds his tongue. He doesn't scream, nor does he cry, the only sign of pain is the tightening of his body and the occasional spasm. Albus, enraged shouts again, "Crucio!" Harry continues to hold himself with dignity, even as the torture pushes through 10 minutes. He glares defiantly at the headmaster, refusing to back down, until he passes out around the 20 minute mark. The last thing he hears is, " obliviate", and then nothing.
