The sun was slowly setting as the sky was colored faint pink, the view was breathtaking I could watch it for hours without looking away

"Aeri, are you listening to me?" I looked away from the window and focused my attention to the psychiatrist in front me

"Mhm" I hummed in response but she just let out a sigh "Aeri, what's wrong with you? Why have you been so distracted lately? You weren't like this before?" She crossed her arms as I looked down "I'm sorry"

"Aeri, do you want to get better or not?" She said in a rather patient tone, I looked up and nodded slowly

"Then you have to work with me Aeri" She went to her table and started writing in her notepad "Are you going to give me more medication?" She looked up "No, don't worry" and gave me a small smile

"But you have to visit the forest from now on" My smile dropped immediately, and she noticed "I know it's hard Aeri, but do you want to continue living without knowing the truth about what really happened that night?"

I nodded "Okay" I hated that she was right, I hated that I knew she was right.

"Thank you Aeri" I stood up and wore my jacket

"Aeri if something is bothering you, you can tell me" I looked at her and nodded slowly "I know that" a faint smile on my face

She let out a sigh as she stood up "Okay this will be it for this week, take your medication on time okay and if you remember anything, let me know" I nodded once again and gave her another smile

"Take care Aeri" She patted my shoulder "You too" I bowed and left

I closed the door quietly and made my way to the cafeteria but as I was walking through the hallways I stopped and saw the view outside, the sun has completely set now indicating that it was close to nighttime already, the forest surrounding the ward outside was dark and for a second it reminded me of that night,

The night my parents corpses in huge plastic bags were sent to the front door of our house.

The scenes of that night felt like it appeared in front of my eyes again, the feelings that I tried so hard to forget, the images I thought I deleted from my mind , they all came back to me in a single moment,

I shook my head aggressively "No Aeri, it's not real, it's just in your head"

I walked to the cafeteria with my shoes crashing the floor harshly, the sound echoing and getting louder with every step that I would take, I was trying my best not to hear my own thoughts, trying to get rid of those horrid scenarios that would continuously repeat in my head, I'm fine, I have been fine and I will be fine.

I found myself at the cafeteria sooner than I thought and it was empty, nobody really comes up here, most patients eat in the cafeteria downstairs, alongside that it was beyond dinner time so most patients would've gone back to their rooms already,

I walked to where some of the leftover foods were out and picked up a bowl of soup, I was hungry but this was the only food they had in the cafeteria upstairs so I had to work with what I was given "Good evening Mrs. Chu" I said with a wide smile
