I woke up as a nurse entered my room with my medications, I sat up trying to make sense of what's happening,

"Breakfast ends at 10 a.m." I nodded as I took the pill with some water,

She then left the room as I laid back down on my bed the sleep not leaving my body yet,

"I have to get up" I said as I stood up and arranged my bed, I glanced at the time and it was seven in the morning, I noticed that the nurse already removed the curtains like she has done every day,

I went to the plastic window and saw outside and due to my room being on the third floor it was a perfect view of the ward and the forest.

I ran my hands through my hair frustrated as I remembered that I have to eat my meals in the cafeteria downstairs, next to the forest,

"I really need to stop making decisions when I'm happy"

I wore my jacket and went outside to the cafeteria, after getting my breakfast I spotted Mrs. Chu sitting alone so I went and sat down next to her "Good morning Mrs. Chu"

Mrs. Chu who seemed to lost in her thoughts turned her head and greeted me with a smile "Good morning Aeri, did you sleep well?"

"Actually yes..." I took a sip of my warm milk "It's been a while since I've slept this well"

She smiled like a proud mother, this mean she's getting better right? She thought to herself

I was eating my breakfast when suddenly I remembered "Oh Mrs. Chu..." I said after swallowing the food I was still chewing earlier "Do you a boy named Nishimura Riki?"

"How do you know Riki?" She furrowed her eyebrows, eyeing me suspiciously but I shrugged and gave her a small smile "Yes, he is a very sweet boy, very handsome one as well" I smiled upon hearing that "Why are you suddenly asking about him? Are you friends?"

I opened my mouth wanting to say yes but I remembered how he refused my offer of being friends last night "Not really?" I tilted my head as I took another bite of the chocolate filled croissant

"Do you like him then?" I let out a little laugh as she said that "No no no no" I shook my hand and head together "I saw your face when I was complimenting him Aeri, it was like you were praying I would to say nice things about him"

I looked down smiling and took another bite of the croissant "You got it wrong Mrs. Chu, I just want to know what kind of person he is, that's all"

"Whatever you say Aeri" She looked away from me as I continued with the rest of my meal "He always sits there" I raised my head and looked at the direction she pointed to "He sits with this pretty girl and she is always feeding him my dishes and he enjoys it"

I felt a sudden ache in my heart and I didn't even know why, I mean I don't even know him so why do I feel this way?

I looked down and ate my food silently "Aeri—"

"I'm done with breakfast, thank you Mrs. Chu" I stood up taking my plate and bowed "See you at lunch" I walked to where the dirty plates were put and put my plate there too,
