I roll on top of Nellie, letting my head fall into her neck.
I'm happy. I'm so happy. I feel okay. Like actually okay. I feel like i'm not alone, i feel like i can make it out of this.
I feel like the only way out, isn't death.
Nellie groans slightly, "Hmrthmgroopdiwndiwn."
"Huh?"
"The group is downstairs."
I listen in and realise there is people talking downstairs.
"Do we have to see them?" I mumble, "I'm sleepy."
She giggles, "I know baby, but don't you wanna see them?"
I nod with a sigh and get up off of Nellie's bare body.
I gather some underwear for her, and my t-shirt. I put them on for her and then sit her up in bed.
She stands up and waddles beside me as we go downstairs to our friends. I hold her close, making sure she doesn't fall.
"HELLOOOOO!!" Arlo comes bouncing over.
"Goodmorning, Arlo." Nellie smiles sitting on the sofa.
Arlo tackles me in a hug, "HIIIII."
"Hi," I smile.
We all settle onto the sofas and talk, laugh, watch tv, eat food.
It's so easy with them. I feel okay with them. I feel like i can breathe.
I'm not fully better, i'm not perfect. I have shit days.
But not everyday is a shit day anymore.
Not everything makes me want to cry.
I'm healing, i'm gonna be okay.
And i couldn't have done it without my friends.
It's gonna work out. It's gonna be okay.
Nellie kisses me with a sweet smile, "I love you."
"I love you." I let out a content sigh.
I love this girl with everything in me.
