The group said their goodbyes to each other, Angelo and Orca headed home, meanwhile team Eclispe Horizons headed to Matsu's place to hang out. While they sat on the couch, talking about life and how they're doing, Aria, remembering her mission to find any weaknesses within matsu, asked matsu if they're is anything he's afraid of happening or if he has any phobias that they should be mindful of. Matsu thinks and says he's not really afraid of anything besides people finding out he's engaged to Calie and Marie. But, he does have one phobia, Monophobia, but then he says all fireflies have monophobia.

Blaze, who was aware of Matsu's fears and phobia, exchanged a knowing glance with the others as Aria delved into the topic. Aria, taking notes mentally, continued, "Monophobia, the fear of being alone, is quite common among fireflies, isn't it?"

Matsu nodded. "Yes, it is. We're a very social race of people, and the idea of isolation is deeply unsettling for us. It's rooted in our nature to thrive in communities."

Exander, curious, asked, "But what about your fear of people finding out about your engagement? Isn't that an unusual fear for someone in your position?"

Matsu sighed, looking contemplative. "It's not that I'm ashamed or afraid of being with Calie and Marie. It's just... our relationship is a private matter. The world can be judgmental, and I've seen firsthand how rumors and speculations can spiral out of control. I want to protect them from unnecessary scrutiny."

Blaze chimed in, "And rightfully so. We've seen how the media can twist things. You're just being cautious for the sake of their happiness."

Aria, with a slight frown, tried to probe further. "But don't you think being engaged to two people might become public knowledge eventually?"

Matsu nodded, acknowledging the inevitability. "Perhaps, but I'd like it to happen on our terms. We'll share our happiness when we feel ready, not when the world demands it."

Aria took mental notes, absorbing the information for future use. The conversation shifted back to lighter topics, and the group spent the evening laughing, playing games, and strengthening the bonds that went beyond their roles in the Tactical Takedown community. Little did they know, Aria's mission would eventually bring unexpected challenges to their tight-knit group.

Aria then asked if Matsu lives alone, then why doesn't his monophobia trigger when everyone leaves his place.

Matsu chuckled at Aria's question, revealing a secret aspect of firefly life. "The trick lies in the fact that we're never truly alone. By law, a firefly living on their own is required to have at least one pet. You've all met my companions: Aria, the clever crow, Velox, the mischievous raven, and Azzy, my fluffy black cat."

Blaze grinned, nudging Matsu playfully. "So, it's not just monophobia; it's the clever use of company that keeps the fear at bay."

Matsu nodded, scratching Azzy behind the ears as the cat purred contentedly on his lap. "Exactly. It's a tradition passed down through generations. Having animal companions not only alleviates the fear of loneliness but also enhances our connection with nature. We fireflies hold a deep respect for the creatures we share our lives with."

Aria, intrigued by this cultural nuance, questioned further, "And do all fireflies follow this tradition?"

Matsu nodded, "It's a widely embraced practice, though the choice of pets can vary. Some have birds, like me, while others might choose different animals. It's a personal preference, but the essence is to ensure we're surrounded by living companionship."

As they continued chatting about firefly traditions and the unique bonds they shared with their animal companions, Aria realized that understanding Matsu's culture was crucial for her mission. The information she gathered could potentially be used to exploit any vulnerabilities or manipulate situations in the future. The evening unfolded with laughter, stories, and the warmth of friendship, unaware of the challenges that awaited them on the horizon.
