After the phone incident, Calie answered a call from Shai, and after a brief exchange, her expression shifted into a thoughtful nod. "Sure, Shai. We'll bring Matsu with us. Oh, and we have Blaze with us too. Can she join?"
Shai's response had a momentary pause, indicating a silent consultation on her end. When she finally spoke, it was with a cautious tone. "Alright, you can bring Blaze. But, remember, keep everything discussed in the meeting confidential. We're counting on your discretion."
Calie assured Shai, "Don't worry, Shai. Our lips are sealed. We'll be discreet."
Marie chimed in, "Absolutely. You can trust us."
With the confirmation in place, Calie ended the call, turning to Matsu, Blaze, and the rest. "Looks like we're all going to this meeting. Just remember, whatever is discussed in there stays in there. Understood?"
Matsu and Blaze nodded in agreement, ready to accompany Calie and Marie to the mysterious meeting with their idol manager. The air buzzed with anticipation as they prepared to step into the unknown, bound by a pact of secrecy.
...
As Matsu's chauffeur drove them to the idol company, Matsu leaned in and whispered to Blaze, "Remember, we've got to play it cool. Act like Calie and Marie are dragging us into something we're not interested in. We can't let anyone catch wind of the real reason we're here. Got it?"
Blaze grinned and responded, "Got it. Dragged against our will, not a problem. I can put on a good act."
Calie and Marie exchanged glances, having overheard the conversation. Marie smirked and teased, "Oh, are we really that burdensome? Dragging you into places against your will?"
Matsu chuckled, "You know how it is. Tactical Takedown is calling, and we'd rather be on the field than in some meeting."
Blaze added with a feigned sigh, "Exactly. But, I guess we'll humor you this time."
As the car approached the entrance, Calie and Marie shared a knowing look. They were all aware of the delicate balance they needed to maintain, and the act was crucial to safeguarding their secret relationships and personal lives from prying eyes and gossip. The car came to a stop, and with practiced nonchalance, they stepped out, ready to play their parts in the unfolding drama.
Inside the lobby of the idol company, Matsu and Blaze continued their charade of reluctance. Calie and Marie, with exaggerated enthusiasm, playfully hit their friends on the head.
Matsu winced, rubbing his head, and complained, "Ouch! Seriously, do we have to do this? Can't we just go play Tactical Takedown?"
Calie chuckled, tugging Matsu along, "Come on, Matsu, it won't take long. Besides, it's important."
Blaze, feigning exhaustion, added, "Yeah, important for you two. Can't believe we're getting dragged into this."
Marie playfully smacked Blaze on the back, saying, "Quit whining, Blaze. We need your 'charming' personality in there."
Blaze sighed dramatically, "Fine, if I must grace them with my charm."
As they entered the elevator, Blaze shot a playful glare at Calie and Marie, silently acknowledging the necessity of their act. The four of them settled into the elevator, still maintaining the facade of indifference and mild annoyance. It was a delicate dance, but one they had rehearsed many times to keep their personal lives under wraps.
In the elevator, Matsu continued his act, making a last-ditch effort to escape the impending meeting. He turned to Calie and Marie with a pleading expression.
