Earlier that same day while Matsu went to visit Illiyas, and Calie and Marie were on that Idol grind Blaze was just going through the motions...

Upon waking up, Blaze surveys her apartment and calls out for Matsu, but then she realizes that she went home last night. She gets up, goes to the restroom, and goes to brushe her teeth.

As Blaze stood in front of the bathroom mirror, her gaze fixed on her reflection, she couldn't help but feel a twinge of loneliness. "Matsu?" she called out, her voice echoing slightly in the quiet apartment.

Silence greeted her, reminding her once again that Matsu wasn't there. With a resigned sigh, she turned her attention to her morning routine, picking up her toothbrush and squeezing a dollop of toothpaste onto its bristles.

As she brushed her teeth, the rhythmic motion of her hand seemed to echo the thoughts swirling in her mind. Despite the solitude that enveloped her, Blaze found solace in the familiar rituals of her daily life, anchoring herself in the mundane tasks that kept her grounded.

With a final rinse of her mouth, she set the toothbrush aside and splashed some water on her face, willing herself to shake off the lingering sense of longing that lingered within her. Today was a new day, and she was determined to seize it with all the energy and enthusiasm she could muster.

Then Blaze let out a small chuckle as she glanced at her reflection in her room's mirror, taking in the sight of her disheveled appearance. "Well, at least I'm consistent," she muttered to herself, a wry smile tugging at the corners of her lips.

With a shake of her head, she bent down to gather the discarded clothes strewn across the floor, neatly folding them and placing them back in her dresser. As she straightened up, she caught sight of the oversized t-shirt she had borrowed from Matsu, the fabric soft and familiar against her skin.

"I should probably return this to him," she mused aloud, her thoughts drifting to the man who had become such an integral part of her life. Despite the distance that separated them at the moment, Blaze felt a warm sense of comfort knowing that Matsu's presence lingered in the simple act of wearing his shirt.

With a decisive nod, she made a mental note to return the shirt to him the next time they met, resolving to cherish the memories it held until then. Adjusting the shirt slightly, she turned away from the mirror, ready to face the day ahead with renewed determination.

The Blaze quickly changed into a more suitable outfit for work, opting for a crisp white blouse paired with sleek black trousers. As she smoothed down the fabric, her mind drifted to the tasks awaiting her at Kagayaki Industries.

"Another day, another opportunity to learn," she murmured to herself, a determined gleam in her eyes as she finished getting ready.

With a final glance in the mirror to ensure everything was in place, Blaze grabbed her bag and headed out the door, eager to dive into the world of research and development once again.

As she made her way to the office, Blaze mentally prepared herself for the challenges that lay ahead, her focus unwavering as she envisioned the innovative projects she would be working on under the guidance of Dr. Nakamura.

Blaze couldn't help but grumble under her breath as she walked through the bustling streets towards Kagayaki Industries. "Typical," she muttered to herself. "Just when I could use a ride, Matsu decides to take a day off."

Despite her frustration, Blaze understood the importance of Matsu's need for personal time. She knew that he often carried the weight of the world on his shoulders, juggling his responsibilities as a businessman, friend, and guardian to his sisters.
