The New Thunderbeak Platoon, amidst their celebration of their victory, felt the ominous vibrations beneath their feet. Matsu's sharp instincts kicked in, and he immediately shouted, "Everyone, outside, now!" Yet, as they rushed towards the exit, a contingent of Adze blocked their path, their chilling laughter echoing through the unstable building.
The leader of the Adze, reveling in the chaos, taunted the Platoon, "Did you really think you could stop us so easily? We've set the stage for our grand entrance, and now you're trapped in our web."
Matsu, scanning the surroundings, realized the severity of the situation. "We need to clear a path. Three, cover us from above. One, Two, prepare for close-quarters combat. We can't let them control the narrative here."
Blaze, taking to the air, unleashed a barrage of light projectiles to create an opening. "I got you covered, Seven. Just make sure you guys don't become bug food down there."
Calie and Marie, adopting a defensive stance, prepared for the imminent clash with the Adze blocking their way. "Stay close, Two. We're not letting anything happen to each other," Calie affirmed, a steely determination in her eyes.
As the Platoon engaged the Adze once again, the leader observed with a sinister grin. "You can't escape fate. We control the threads of destiny, and soon, Ironhaven will crumble at our command."
The skirmish intensified, the building shaking with each clash. The Platoon fought with a renewed sense of urgency, knowing that the stakes were higher than before. Blaze's precision shots picked off Adze attempting to flank them, while Calie and Marie executed synchronized strikes to create an opening.
Matsu, in the midst of battle, thought strategically. "Three, keep an eye out for structural weaknesses. We might need to use them to our advantage."
The leader Adze, sensing the Platoon's resilience, grew frustrated. "Enough games. If you won't fall to our blades, you'll fall with the building!" With a maniacal laugh, the Adze unleashed a powerful shockwave that reverberated through the already unstable structure.
The Platoon, aware of the impending danger, intensified their efforts to break through the Adze blockade. They fought not only for their own survival but also for the safety of Ironhaven. The building trembled, and the fate of the Platoon hung in the balance as they continued their struggle against the relentless Adze onslaught.
As the building crumbled around them, panels and beams fell in chaotic disarray. Matsu, Blaze, Calie, and Marie swiftly utilized their aura manipulation to move the debris out of their path, creating a makeshift escape route. However, just as they neared safety, an Adze materialized behind Matsu, seizing him with a blade pressed against his throat.
Matsu, undeterred, defiantly declared, "You think a little blade can stop me? You underestimate my aura." Struggling to break free, he unleashed his aura, burning the Adze with the scorching flames of nature aura. The Adze howled in pain, momentarily loosening its grip.
With the building on the verge of collapse, Matsu turned his attention to his team. "Go! I'll hold them off. Get to safety!"
Calie, Marie, and Blaze hesitated, torn between loyalty and the instinct to escape the crumbling structure. Matsu, however, pushed them toward the exit, his determination unwavering. "I'll catch up. Go, now!"
Calie, looking back with concern, shouted, "Don't you dare die on us, Seven!"
As the trio rushed out, Matsu faced the remaining Adze alone. The building groaned, its demise imminent. In a daring move, Matsu focused his aura to boost his speed and agility, darting through the falling debris. The Adze, enraged and injured, pursued relentlessly.
