Earth; Decades Before Vol. 1

The Forever Knights run into their castle, fleeing from something chasing them. They seal the entrance, but the thing breaks in, revealing itself to be Four Arms. One by one, he crushes the knights, and ruins their castle

In the midst of the madness, the Tetramand proceeds to grab a Forever Knight "Answer me! Where is he?"

The knight looks up at him "Why ask what you already know?!" He asks fearfully "Are you testing us?!"

Four Arms: I "test" your will to live!
He slams him into the wall "Now, for the last time!" He taps his Omnitrix and transforms into... Max Tennyson, barely in his prime "Where is Max Tennyson?"

Not Long After

Verdona comes flying through the sky "Where are you?" She soon comes across the Forever Knight castle, but it's been set ablaze. She lands near the body of a knight "What happened here?" She looks up and sees an Lepidopterran flying away "Max?"

The body next to her groans, so Verdona crouches next to the injured man "What happened?"

The knight weakly looks up at her "Max Tennyson... has shown no mercy"

Verdona: Well, what did you do?

Knight: Nothing! I swear on my order. He's ruined three of our castles in as many... days...
He groans and loses consciousness

Verdona looks up at the sky "Max, what are you doing?"

Present: Ship 1-A Lounge

Ben sits on the couch, staring down at his naked left wrist, no Omnitrix in sight

"You fool!" Azmuth stands before him "Not only is there a distorted copy of my Omnitrix, but now because of you, the finished product is destroyed!" He points at Ben "You're lucky my people lack in height, or I'd rip you asunder for this!"

Mina gets between them "Lay off him! Ben did what he did to keep them from taking the watch!"

Azmuth: And in doing so, he sent the thing to oblivion!

Sero: I still can't believe that thing was the source of his power this whole time

Ojiro: Such a powerful weapon in the hands of someone no older than us

Azmuth rounds on both of them "I'll have you know that the Omnitrix was not a weapon. It was an intergalactic library, a tool for intergalactic peace and understanding. But now, it's gone!"

Toshinori steps up "Why not focus on the good news, huh?" He says optimistically "We almost have all of the Potis Altiare. We just need to find the last piece"

Azmuth: Which is on my home planet, Galvan Prime. I set out to find it when I first learned of it and only found that one piece. I actually used the device as inspiration for the Omnitrix, which Albedo is well aware of

Toshinori scratches his chin "Okay, that's bad news"

Azmuth: It gets worse. The prototypical Omnitrix is there as well, sat in my lab. I was planning to take it apart, but have been so busy as of late, that I never got the chance. Albedo is likely to look for it. If he does, there could be no stopping him from taking the Potis Altiare. Then there's no telling what could happen

13: I don't understand. What's Albedo's goal?

Azmuth sighs and tosses a disc onto the nearby table. The disc lights up and displays a holographic video

Toshinori: What's this?

Azmuth: To understand Albedo's goal, you must understand his, to put it in your terms, "origin"
