"Rengoku," Y/n's voice called to me. "Yes, sweetheart?" I responded. "I know this might sound weird, but can you cuddle me, please?" she asked nervously. My face flushed a light shade of red as I blushed. "Of course, sweetheart. Anything for you," I said, making my way to her and laying down. I wrapped my arms around her, and she snuggled into me. Soon, we both fell asleep, the warmth of our closeness enveloping us.
**Mitsuri's POV:**
In the mid-afternoon, Rengoku had been absent for a few hours, likely on another mission. "Hey, Mitsuri, can you take Y/n some lunch?" Shinobu asked. I nodded and left the Butterfly Mansion. On my way, I encountered Obanai. "Hey, Obanai, want to go with me to get Y/n some food and bring it to her?" I asked. He agreed, and we found ourselves back at the mansion. Entering Y/n's room, we discovered her and Rengoku cuddled up together, fast asleep. "Aw, that's so cute!" I squealed, and Obanai placed the plate of food on the bedside table before we quietly exited. "I found Rengoku," I later reported to the other hashira. "Where is he?" Giyu asked. "He was in Y/n's room, all cuddled up, sleeping together," I said with a big smile.
**No One's POV:**
This continued throughout the week of Y/n's recovery. Rengoku remained right by her side, always ready to comfort her or offer a cuddle. Y/n seemed to cherish his warm embraces, and their connection blossomed during this time of healing.
