**Y/n's POV:**

The next morning unfolded with a sense of calm. As I woke up, I noticed Kyojuro was absent from the room. In my kimono, I strolled into the kitchen, enticed by the aroma of something delightful. There, I found Kyojuro, not in his usual uniform, an uncommon sight. He turned, a smile gracing his features, and beckoned me over. As his arms enveloped me, and he planted a sweet kiss on my lips, he revealed the day's plan.

"I'm making breakfast, and then we're heading to my family's house," he declared. My apprehension surfaced, and I confessed, "But I don't think your father likes me, Kyojuro." I covered my eyes with my hands, seeking refuge.

"He just... My father told me a story from his time as a bashira. He encountered Upper Rank Two, holding a baby with red eyes. The demon claimed the child was Muzan Kibutsuji's. When my father saw your eyes, he realized who you were," Kyojuro explained, soothing my concerns. With a nod, I agreed and sat down to eat, the weight of revelation still settling in.

**Time Skip:**

**No One's POV:**

After breakfast, Kyojuro and I set out, heading to his family's house. Unspoken worries lingered, as we hadn't disclosed the news of the pregnancy to Kyojuro's father or brother. Upon arrival, Senjuro greeted Kyojuro with a warm hug, and when his eyes met mine, the revelation of my distinctive eyes prompted an awe-struck comment.

"Your eyes are so pretty," Senjuro exclaimed, hugging me. As Kyojuro's father emerged, there was a noticeable tension. When you introduced yourself, explaining your lineage, Shinjurō, Kyojuro's father, acknowledged the familiarity.

"I knew from the moment I saw your eyes, you were Muzan Kibutsuji's daughter," he said as he welcomed us inside. Seated on cushions, the atmosphere was pregnant with anticipation.

"I have great news, father," Kyojuro announced with a radiant smile. "Y/n is pregnant. I am going to be a father." Shinjurō's eyes widened in surprise, followed by Senjuro's heartfelt congratulations. The announcement marked a moment of unity, shifting the air with shared joy.

"It's time for us to pass down the family tradition to you now," Shinjurō declared, presenting Kyojuro with a book. Intrigued, I inquired about the tradition, and Shinjurō explained "Kankagari." For the duration of the pregnancy, every seven days, you would spend two hours gazing at a large flaming torch. This tradition, he explained, was the reason for the distinctive yellow and red hair color shared by Kyojuro, his brother, and himself.

Though this practice might make my eyes sensitive to light, you agreed, a smile on your face, ready to honor and embrace the Rengoku family tradition, a symbol of unity and continuity through generations.
