**Y/n's POV:**
Bathed in the ethereal glow of the moon, I adorned my mask and meticulously wore a kimono fashioned from the remnants of the upper moon's clothing. A deep sigh escaped me as I stepped out of my house, eluding the notice of headquarters, threading my way through the night to reach the forest.
**No One's POV:**
The moonlight unveiled the stealthy departure of Y/n from headquarters, catching the attention of all the hashiras. "Let's follow her," urged Obanai, and silently, like shadows, they trailed Y/n. "I knew she was hiding something," Shinobu whispered knowingly. They reached a forest where Y/n entered a moonlit clearing. The hashiras concealed themselves, ensuring she remained oblivious to their presence.
In that serene moment, Y/n removed her mask, placing it on the forest floor, her back turned to the hashiras. Suddenly, demons sprang forth from the bushes, prompting Kyojuro's instinct to charge forward, but Shinobu restrained him. "Just wait," she advised. Y/n, facing her mother, Daki, expressed remorse for Gyutaro's demise. The revelation of her lineage struck the hashiras with shock, recognizing Daki as the Belt Demon and realizing Y/n's kinship with the upper moons.
"It's so hard, Mother. I never wanted to be a demon slayer, never wanted to witness harm befall you. But I stayed because I—I fell in love. He's kind, and I hate lying to him," Y/n sobbed, her anguish echoing through the moonlit clearing. Rengoku, his heart heavy, declared an end to their relationship, admitting he wouldn't have loved her had he known her true identity.
As the hashiras emerged from hiding, their eyes widened in realization. Rengoku's laughter, tinged with bitterness, cut through the air. "Now I get it. You're Muzan's daughter," he said, the gravity of the truth settling upon him and the other hashiras. Kokushibo, asked muzan if they should attack as he, readied his sword, but Y/n implored them not to attack. Rengoku, heartbroken, began to walk away, the other hashiras following suit. Y/n, desperate and pleading, called after him, reminding him of the promise they made to face everything together. Her father held her back, a silent witness to his daughter's heartbreak as she watched her love disappear into the shadows.
