Yor opened the door and closed it right behind her. "I'm home!" "Mama!" Anya ran over as she quickly grabbed her test with her hands and jumped around. "Mama! Mama! Anya got a 72 on language art thing!" Anya smiled widely and showed Yor the test. She took it in her hands and gave a kind smile to Anya. "Wow! This is great, Anya! You did so well! Is Loid here? I'm sure he'd be so happy to see this!" Anya shook her head but giggled at the thought. "Papa isn't home, but Anya knows he's here proud! Fank you, Mama, for teaching Anya! Fank Unkie too!" Papa is be super happy! "Wowwww!!! Great job, Anya!!! Since you did so good, you can get unlimited peanuts!!!" "Heh!" Yor felt warm and praised Anya for her hard work. "As long as you did your best, then that's already great!" "Fank you, mama! Anya will try here bestest on the next test, so Anya can get unlimited peanuts!" "...can Anya have peanuts right now?"

These missions are a pain, and my paranoia isn't helping either. You could visibly see it on his face. After loosing Anya, Twilight had been a bit on edge for her. I need to complete these side missions and get home to continue on with Operation STRIX. Twilight pushed his back against the wall and turned his head for any sight of enemies. "It's safe to enter, Twilight." He nodded and ducked down as he swiftly ran inside. "The files, you need the files." He continued to swiftly shift his body through the air gent as he looked for the room, Room 462. The laboratory was humongous, a lot bigger than WISE'S agency. Geez, when am I going to find this room? He looked through each vent for the room number on top of the doorframe. Room 453..463..471..462...46-462. He squirmed back to the ventilation that was the room, 462. Jesus Christ, finally! "I'm in." He pushed down on his earpiece and kicked the vent down as he jumped down. "Good, the files are in the grey cabinet with the labeled tape, the letter ZAQ is on it." ZAQ..ZAQ.. Aha! Loid quickly cracked the lock open and took out the files. "Good work, Twilight. Head back in the vent and get to HQ immediately." Twilight hopped up on the countertop and easily jumped back in the vent. My body feels stiff..it aches..dammit I hate these missions. "Alright, I'm heading in the car. I'm turning back right now."

"Oh god, Loid might not be back home in time!" Yor stared at the clock and Anya fell on the floor. "Waaaaa..Mama! Anya is hungry!" Oh no! Yor felt so bad for Anya, she had worked so hard and she should've deserved an award! Well..I could make stew for her, but she'll definitely not feel so awarded! "Anya-San, I'm so sorry! I feel as if it'd be only good if Loid-San cooked, but it seems as if he won't get home in time.." Anya frowned and nodded as she dug her head in Yor's thighs. "It's ok, Mama! We can get takeout instead!" Yor gently stroked Anya's head and pulled her up for a hug. "Awhh! Thank you, Anya-San! I'm so sorry your father couldn't be hear! I'm sure he'd be so proud of you!" Anya felt a bit more happier and hugged Yor back. "Thank you, Mama! Anya knows you are proud of me, so it's ok!" "Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, Anya-San! Here, we can order whatever you like!" "Yay!!"

Finally, home.. Loid pushed the front door open and held onto the wall for stability. "Loid-San!" Yor turned the corner and ran over to Loid, but her smile gradually faded. "Loid-San, are you ok? Sit down!" She took off his coat for him and tiptoed up to take off his hat as well. "Here, come here!" Yor's tight grip pulled on Loid's wrist and he was basically dragged to the couch. Anya already had head to bed and probably fell to sleep. "Are you alright? You look tired and hurt.." Loid lied back and sighed heavily as he placed his hand on his forehead. "God..work is just a bit stressful. I'm sorry if I seem so harsh right now." Yor put her hand on his shoulder and put his hand on his lap instead. "Don't worry about it, just go to sleep and rest. Are you hungry?" I.. "No, I'm not hungry, thank you." Yor nodded and smiled as she took a blanket and gently placed it on top of him. "Goodnight, Loid-San." She was just about to get up until Loid stopped her and looked back up. "Don't go, Yor."

He lied there comfortably as he pushed some hair out of his face. Finally. Loid decided he'd move to his bed instead of the sofa since it was obviously more comfortable. He turned on his side and stared into Yor's face. She had her mouth shut and her face was red and she stared back. Yor's stare looked more like a nervous expression, while Loid's looked like a more calm look. "I feel more relaxed now, Yor-San." She nodded and looked down, trying to avoid eye contact. Is she uncomfortable? He felt a bit guilty and decided he'd be the one to speak up. "I'm sorry if you don't want to be here right now, if you want, you could go. You need to head to sleep as well." "I-! No, I..I don't mind staying here!" He smiled and Yor pushed a smile back. As Loid was mesmerized by Yor's eyes, he didn't hear the knocking on his window. With a gentle touch, he pushed her hair behind her ear and pulled her closer to him. Yor shook a bit but put her hand on his chest. "Do yo feel better, Loid-San?" He nodded and hung his head lower, staring down to Yor's figure. He kissed her forehead and hugged her with a tighter embrace. "I like your scent, Yor. Is it a new perfume?" She nodded and didn't even realize the fact he had said her name so casually. "Th..thank you, i-it is.." She smelled like a bouquet of flowers, specifically roses. It seemed like a thing Yor would have. Nobody had said anything else. It was silent and awkward for the time being. The silence was killing Loid and so as his tiredness. "Yor?" No response. "Yor..y.." Yor had her eyes closed and had her head under his chin. Oh. Loid smiled and quietly took her hand off his body. I'll just take her back to her room, she probably won't be so happy to see us sleeping next to each other without guests.

Loid walked into her room and held her with one arm as he fixed the bed sheets. He didn't want to let go of her. I don't need too though. I could also just put her back down on my bed and..Loid stopped himself and shook his head. Quit it, Twilight. This isn't professional. He lied her down and picked up her head as he placed the pillow under it. Loid reached over for the blanket on the side of the bed and placed it on top of her. Damn it, I can't let go of Operation STRIX. The relationship I've made with this family can't just drop in the gutter. He turned off the lights and closed the door behind him. He walked back in the room and sat back down on his chair. I shouldn't be talking right now, I've had countless missions like this. It wasn't as important as World Peace, but I've let go of bonds before. What's so difficult and different about this one? He pressed his fingers against his forehead and sighed. He got up and walked over to his bed, he finally then noticed the sounds of knocking on his window. What the- He turned around and looked out, seeing Franky throwing pebbles at it. The hell? He held a piece of paper up, saying "what is it?" Franky didn't know the secret code stuff that agents did, so he decided this be easiest. Franky signaled for him to come down and outside with his gear. Loid rolled his eyes turned around. Another mission.
