Alright, so things weren't so awkward now, and tension wasn't really rising. Anya was totally oblivious to all of it.

"Papa and Mama k-" Anya wanted to say, but Loid cut her off with whatever he had to say.

"Don't, Anya." Loid straight up said, not moving or looking away from the newspaper. Anya giggled, because she knew what happened really did happen, and he couldn't ignore that.

It would've been much awkward if Yor was here, which luckily, she wasn't. She had to go run an errand to the supermarket & get to work extra early, so Anya just continued to finish her food. Bond sat in her room.

Loid looked up to the clock, 7:24. It's taking quite a while for Yor to come home. Loid told himself and sighed, while Anya continued to read his thoughts.

Heh. Papa doesn't know Mama's going to go stabby-stab on somebody!

She grinned and Loid looked over to her.

"Why do you look so smug-?" Loid questioned her, and she quickly wiped the smile clean off her face. She finished her food and hopped out of her seat, placing her dishes in the sink.

"Make sure to get ready too, the school bus is coming in 15 minutes." Loid told her, and she nodded.

"Okay!" Anya yelled back as she ran into her room, dressing herself into uniform and packing her stuff inside her bag. She walked into the bathroom and quickly prepped herself before running back into the living room and sitting on the floor.

She grabbed the remote and turned on the channel she loved, (the only channel she watches) Spy Wars!

Loid looked over and watched her sit there, staring at the screen while Bondman was held hostage, tied down and getting whipped. He flinched a bit at the final hit, but he dismissed it.

I wonder what she likes about that show. Loid shrugged and got up, rolling up his newspaper and stacking the empty dishes, placing them in the sink.

He started washing them as he cleaned up the rest of the table. After a few clean dishes, he checked the clock again. 7:40.

"Anya! It's time to go!" Loid yelled, and she groaned. She turned off the television and hung her backpack around her shoulder. She got up and ran to the door, having Loid followed behind her.

They ran down the stairs and made it to the bus stop, and they made it just in time. She hopped and waved to him before parting. The bus left and Loid walked back to the apartment.

He decided to head to the hospital since he had a feeling Handler had sent Fiona on a mission-check for Operation STRIX, or Fiona just wanted to.

Loid got ready and looked at the clock again.

"I wonder when Yor's coming home, or if she's getting the groceries." Loid wondered, and decided he'd just head to work and let Yor do her own thing.

~~~
Yor hastily washed her hands while grabbing her weapons, quickly changing into her uniform and running out of the hall (using the back door, of course.)
She was running late to work, and she wasn't even able to run the errand Loid had tasked her with, and actually buying the groceries. She would just need to get it after work, meaning she also might be running home late.
