Keeping their heads turned away, they secretly stared at each other in silence, both Yuri & Loid were basically yelling in their minds for Yor to come back.

Dammit, Yor, just..

Come back already!

Come back already!

The two minds thought in unison, it was sure awkward now. Loid quietly sighed, knowing he had to make the first move. Yuri already hated him, so him talking first would be a good idea to maybe settle the relationship between them.

"So, is the food alright?" Loid asked with a smile, turning back to him, and Yuri immediately jolted a bit at his question.

Dammit, a question of validation! Who asks that!

Yuri nodded with a smile on his face, turning to him.

"Yes, it's great. Thank you for the dinner, and inviting me here." Yuri thanked him, and Loid allowed a smile to form on his face. He seems to be more calm now.

"Of course, you can come by anytime. I know you're very close to Yor. And besides, I'd like if you did come to visit more often. It's a shame that you and Anya couldn't chat any further, it just seems like school's being draining her energy!" Loid joked with a laugh, which he shared with Yuri.

"Ah, Eden College, right?" He confirmed, and Loid nodded.

"That's a very prestigious school, it's great that she's attending." Yuri nodded with approval and Loid smiled.

"How's her exams going?" Yuri asked, which Loid replied with talking briefly about her recent grades and struggles.

"Yor complimented your tutoring skills the last time you came to do so, and by the sound of it, you must be amazing. You and her studying paired together really improved her grades. Thank you for that!" Loid smiled and Yuri nodded humbly.

"Thank you. It was difficult when me and sis were younger, there was no good school around. But I knew the hard work & studying would pay off, so thank you." Yuri smiled and Loid nodded too. It wasn't any new information at all from what Yuri had just said. All he could add was that Yuri was very hardworking in his younger years.

It went silent, as none of the two were speaking. Where was Yor in all of this? She was only placing Anya to bed!

Yuri continued eating as Loid did too, both of them turning & staring at their plates. Yor finally walked back outside and settled down in her seat, looking at the two of them.

"Ah, I'm so sorry for taking so long! I just wanted to make sure Anya was asleep." She apologized with a sincere smile, and the two of the males smiled back.

Both of them immediately noticed the other smiling, and Yor was just obliviously smiling back.

"Don't worry about that, Yor-San." Loid reassured her, and Yuri's shoulders had tensed up a bit. He still couldn't accept the fact that Loid was able to use his sister's name so casually.

They all ate in silence as the air got thicker every second that passed. What would they say?

Why was it so damn quiet? And awkward?

Loid cleared his throat, he had nothing to talk about!

And he couldn't blame anybody but himself for the outcome.

Loid had 832 choices to talk about with Yuri, and he had instead chosen to talk about Anya's studying! (Which was horrid)

It eliminated 789 of his options, leaving him with only 43 other choices to talk about!
