"GUYS GUYS!!" Hunter shouted.
"What?"
"There's this club downtown and since we're off tomorrow we should definitely go" Hunter knows I'm not a club girl, but ever so often she'll beg me to go.
"Sounds fun." Rachel said with Josh nodding in agreement
"Mmm I guess, but I can't get too drunk." I give in. All eyes go to Tom who hasn't agreed yet.
"I mean I can't be the only one not going, so yes." We all got excited while Hunter talked about what the clubs vibe was. The day was over and we all went back to the apartment to get ready.
"You look amazing!" Me and Hunter said as Rachel walked out, we all got ready together in Rachel's room since it was the biggest.
When we were finally done getting ready we met up with the guys in the living room. Tom was wearing basic black trousers and a white button up with the first two or three buttons undone. He looked good. The guys looked us over and Josh walked over to Rachel telling her how amazing she looked.
Before we left I realized I'd forgotten my purse in my room. I tell the group I'll be right back and run to my room quick. I grab my red leather mini bag that is the perfect pop of color compared to my short black dress and silver heels. I do a once over in the mirror to make sure I didn't need to touch up anything and make my way back out.
The living room is empty except for Tom. "They went down to get a cab, so I offered to stay and wait for you." He explained.
"Oh, well thank you."
"Of course, by the way you look beautiful."
I start blushing and shake my head. As we walk out of the apartment and get into the elevator I work up some sort of courage, "you look really good too, Tom." I could see the effect that compliment had on him and we both smiled at eachother. The cab was already waiting for us when we got to the group and the ride to the club was short.
It's loud and hot in this club and I've gotten myself lost on the way back from the long line I waited in for the bathroom. I'm not exactly drunk but I wouldn't trust myself to get home alone. So finding at least one of my friends would probably be the best idea. I see hunter talking to someone and go over, she offers me another few shots which I gladly accept since I don't have much to worry about. Hunters been telling me for years that I should let loose, so I guess that's what I'm doing today.
Hunter grabs my hand and we make our way to the dance floor, meet my up with rach and josh. "Where's Tom?" I shout so they can hear me.
"Lookin for lover boy?" Josh teases me.
"Just trying to make sure a Berlin girl hasn't roofied him."
"I saw him over by the bar a few minutes ago." Rach looked at me and winked. These people reallyyy wanted us to be something. And I mean if I knew he felt the same I probably would too, but he hasn't told me anything yet. I sigh and make my way to the bar to check on him. I see him talking to the bartender and asking him for another shot.
"Hey! We all thought you disappeared." I had to raise my voice, the music wasn't as loud over here but still loud.
"Hey beautiful, nope just chillin"
"Well we're all dancing if-" I was going to ask him to join but he got the hint and jumped up grabbing my arm and dragging me with him
"I love dancing" he screamed. All I could do was laugh as he moved around to the music. He took notice that I wasn't dancing and pulled me close to him. I don't know if the alcohol was making him flirty or if he was just comfortable enough to show what he actually is feeling.
Hunter walks over to us and hands us two shots each, she's really wanting us to get wasted. Tom cheers to me and we take the shots back to back and go back to dancing. The music changes from an upbeat song to something a bit more 'sexy' I guess, and I look around to see girls grinding on their partners. I make eye contact with Rach and she again winks at me. Now or never I guess.
I follow suit of everyone around me and turn so my back is against Tom and start moving to the rhythm of the song. I feel his hands on my hips and he moves with me. At some point he turns me around to him and I look up into his eyes. He starts leaning in and so do I, the alcohol in my system giving me the confidence to actually do what I've been wanting to for weeks. The kiss starts out small but with the music and alcohol it starts to escalate into a deeper more hungry kiss.
We eventually pull apart, "I've been wanting to that forever." He says
"Me too." He kisses me once more before we go back to dancing. The night ends with all of us stumbling out of the club into a taxi and all passing out as soon as we got home.
