Karlee's POV
Set was slow today. No one was really stressed out since we've all finally gotten into a groove. I've finished writing the song for the movie and needed to record it. I've named it and everything, but I'm scared that it won't be perfect.
Rachel sat in the studio with me, having to do some recording of her own, while I recorded 'can't catch me now'.
"There's blood on the side of the mountain, it's turning a new shade of red. Yeah, sometimes the fires you founded, don't burn the way you'd expect. Yeah, you think that this is the end.." I finished up with the final piece and looked up to see Rachel videoing me. I made a funny face as she ended the video and we both laughed before going over the song once to see if changes were needed.
Rachel suggested we show the boys, and Hunter, so we made our way to the trailers and found them all in Tom's.
Tom's POV
This song is perfect. The melody, the lyrics, and the best part being her voice. She has the voice of an angel. It makes me want to drop everything and sit around listening to her sing all day. I'm flashed with the memory of us in the studio the other night, I almost kissed her. And I swear, by the look in her eyes she probably would've kissed me back. Now, I don't know when I'll have that chance again. And hopefully when the chance presents itself, she'll still feel the same.
I hope yall noticed the whole 'perfect' parallel. She didn't think it'd be perfect but he thought anything she did was perfect, she's perfect. Ughh I'm making myself feel so single with this story😭 anywaysss ik I haven't posted in a bit but I have family visiting for the holidays and I've been busy. Happy holidays! Enjoy! -A
