Surarti had just gotten home from school. The sky was overcast and the wind was blowing hard. She felt cold and soaked because she didn't bring an umbrella. She ran to her yellow house, hoping to take a quick shower and change her clothes.

At the door, she saw her shoes neatly arranged. She smiled, knowing that her mother had returned from the market. She opened the door and was greeted by an appetizing aroma. He saw his mother cooking in the kitchen, singing his favorite song.

"Hi, sweety. Are you home?" Her mother greeted her kindly.

"Hi, Mom. Yes, I am. Sorry, I'm wet. It rained hard, Mom," Surarti replied while taking off her shoes and bag.

"Yes, I know. I'm sorry for you. Come on, hurry up and change your clothes. You'll catch a cold. I've prepared some warm water for you," her mother said as she took towels and clean clothes from the cupboard.

"Thank you, Mom. You're very kind," Surarti thanked her while hugging her mother.

"Yes, yes. Hurry up, there. The food will be cold," her mother patted Surarti's back.

Surarti hurried to the bathroom. She felt the warm water enveloping her body. She felt refreshed and comfortable. She dried her hair and put on clean clothes. She felt warm and relieved.

She came out of the bathroom and saw the dining table filled with various dishes. There was chicken soup, fried tofu, tempe bacem*, sayur asem**, and white rice. There was also hot tea and fried bananas for dessert.

"Wow, Mom. You cooked so much. Is this all for the two of us?" Surarti asked in awe.

"Yes, Sweety. It's the rainy season. You have to eat a lot and be nutritious. So that your body will be strong and not get sick easily," her mother explained as she filled Surarti's plate.

"Thank you, Mom. You're the best mom in the world," Surarti praised as she kissed her mother's cheek.

"Yes, yes. You are also the best child in the world. Come on, let's eat together. Bon Appetit, child," her mother invited Surarti to eat.

"Thanks, Mom. Bon Appetit, Mom," Surarti replied with a smile.

They ate heartily and cheerfully. They talked about their day, about school, about work, about friends, and about other things that made them happy. They felt warm and close. They felt grateful and happy.

Outside, the rain was still falling heavily. The wind was still blowing hard. The air was still cold and damp. But inside the house, there is heart-warming love. There is a family that loves each other. There is irreplaceable happiness.
