Little Talks

        Y/N couldn't sleep. She tossed and turned as her mind pushed her down the spiral staircase of anxiety. Why was Chuuya's jacket covered in blood? Why did she and the other two debate who should get what room before building the furniture? Was Chuuya angry with her or just pissed in general? Her thoughts continued to go round and round until the door of the room that she was going to share with Chuuya swung open.

She froze, trying to appear to be asleep. She didn't want him to feel like he had to interact with her if he didn't want to. She heard footsteps growing closer to her, suddenly stopping by her. A few moments pass before she feels a hand gently shake her shoulder.

"Are you awake?" He whispered.

Y/N eased herself up. "Yeah, wh- what's going on?"

"I finished putting the beds together."

Y/N stared at him dumbfounded for a second before her brain comprehended what he meant. "Wait, I thought you would have just gone to sleep and worried about it in the morning. How did you put them together so quietly?"

He didn't say anything at first. He had an exasperated look on his face as he lifted her off the floor using his gift.

"Ohh..... That makes sense." Y/N was a little embarrassed.

"You think I'm just gonna let an injured friend sleep on the floor?!"

"Well, um, actually yeah kind of."

He looked irked by her admission. "How could you have such a low opinion of me Y/N.?"

"I don't, it just." She fumbled with her words, "You were injured and you seemed pissed. I didn't think you were going to do anything besides sleep."

Chuuya released his ability causing her to fall slightly before he caught her in his arms. "We can talk about this later, but right now we both should get some sleep."

"yeah, you're right." she yawned

Chuuya carried her to the bed room, setting her on the bottom bunk. He retrieved her crutches from the other room before he went to the top bunk. Y/N feeling a little less anxious drifted off to sleep.
