The next morning I was awakened by my phone alarm. I get up and get dressed. I wore my new shirt that my dad got me, my "Quarterback's Daughter" sweater, my light blue skinny jeans, and my white sneakers. I packed my foam finger and cheerleader pom poms in my backpack. I grabbed my bag and Mick and I head towards the elevators. I see my parents and my dad in his uniform. He has his helmet in his hand. My dad looks at me. "Hi, Rory. Ready for this game." He winks.

I rolled my eyes. "Yep." My mom had her shirt on and she has ironed on the words "Mrs. Johnson". My dad looks at my sweater. "That's accurate." He said, smiling.

We all got into the elevator and waited in the lobby for Rayven. Rayven comes out of the hallway with his Rams shirt, white skinny jeans, and black high tops. He has his guitar case with him and I smile at him flirtatiously. He looks at me and smirks. "Ms. Johnson."

I nod at him.

We got in to taxis and went to the stadium. My mom, Mick, Aunt Bella, and I went to sit in the VIP seats. It was a regular thing. It was like a routine. Go in, get food, and sit down in the VIP lounge. Ever since I could remember we've done that. I see Rayven setting up for his final song. My feelings are so clear. I need to tell him.

I get onto the field and I see my dad and the team practicing. My dad looks confused. He watches me. I run over to Rayven. Rayven puts his guitar down. I look at Rayven softly. I fidget with my hands.

"Forget the deal. Take me out. Date me. Whatever, Rayven. I want to go out with you." I say excitedly. I breathe heavily.

His expression is surprised. "Aurora, I thought you said you couldn't...until this deal."

I get closer. I grabbed Rayven's hand. "I want to. Take me out tonight Rayven Hart." I smiled softly.

He smiles big. "Okay. uh, okay."

My dad (who has his helmet on) comes up to me and I run up to him. He wraps me in a hug. I smile.

"Uh, Mr. Johnson. For your surprise...I wrote you a song and I'm performing it when you win." Rayven said, putting his hand on his hips.

"Oh, do you mean if I win?" My dad asks. His arm is around me.

"No, sir. When you win."

"Thanks, Mr. Hart."

I go back up to the VIP seats and everyone has googley eyes. I ignore them. When the game started I took out my foam hand and pom poms. When my dad scored a touchdown I jumped up and down. "Go Daddy! Go! Go, #45 Go!" I got pumped up when the game progressed. When the game was over it was tied. At the very last moment, my dad did a touchdown.

Rayven started his song. He had the mic to his mouth and he started to play his guitar. Someone was playing the piano. "This is for the greatest Quarterback of all time." Rayven's song was beautiful. I see my dad tear up. Rayven's feet lift off the floor. His hair is jumping along with him. After the song was done, Rayven played on his guitar softly. He looks upward in my direction.

"Before we go this afternoon...I wanted to ask someone something---I wanted to ask the greatest Quarterback's daughter out tonight. " I look around. Rayven puts his guitar to his side. My dad is sitting watching intensely.

"Ms. Aurora Johnson, will you go out with me?" He asks smiling big. I grabbed my phone and texted him my answer. Yes. Yes. Yes. My dad looked up at me this way. I looked as Rayven checked his phone.

"Yes!" He exclaimed. Rayven looked at me and we smiled at each other. I go down to the field and I run to my dad. I wrap my arms around his sweaty neck. "Congrats Daddy." My dad smiles big. He kisses my forehead. "You too, baby girl. You too." My dad said, going towards my mom. I went towards Rayven and we smiled at each other.

"The LA Rams win after all. So, Ms. Quarterback's daughter...I want to take you somewhere special. I go to this place every time the band tours. Dress formally."

I process everything that Rayven's saying. "Okay."

"See you later, Aurora."

I nodded. I'm going out with Rayven Freaking Hart. This is going to be an interesting night.
