The next morning I woke up and I heard commotion in the kitchen. I AM not falling for that again. I checked my clock. 11 am. 'Oh crap, I need to get ready.' I got up and turned on the shower. I brushed my teeth and let my water warm up. Because there's one thing I hate. Asshole men and cold showers.
I sang Rayven's song, Love from four years ago when I'm in the shower. I love to sing in the shower. When I got done with my nice shower I picked out a rose-pink "The Pages" crop top, skinny jeans with a white belt, and my white sneakers. I put my hair in a messy bun. I put a little nude lipstick on.
When I came out to the living room/kitchen my mom was leaning against the island drinking a cup of coffee. She was in her low-cut black lacey robe. Which meant one thing. I didn't want to think about it.
"How are you, mom? How's your shoulder?" I asked.
"I'm fine, Arory. Your dad helped a lot last night." She said, quietly.
"Good. Okay, I'm out—see you later."
My mom nodded and laughed quietly.
I went outside and waited for Rayven. After twenty minutes of waiting I saw Rayven pulling up. I smiled big when I saw him getting out of the car. He's wearing a white tank top, blue jean jacket, black ripped skinny jeans, and black sneakers. He looked at my shirt and chuckled. I smiled. I jumped into his arms and he laughs nervously. He put his hands around my hips. I rest my head on his shoulder.
"How's My Queen today?" Rayven said, cupping my cheek.
I chuckled and look emotionally into Rayven's eyes. "I'm good, My King. I just can't get last night out of my head." I said, heading towards Rayven's car.
"Yeah, me either." Rayven opened the passenger door for me.
Rayven came around the car quickly and got in. I could tell he's in a rush. He looked at me.
"I did digging through Ed's Facebook and saw this—"
Rayven hands me his phone. I saw a picture of Edwin and the girl. The post said it was two years ago. I trembled. That's the Girl who ruined it for us. I dropped Rayven's phone to the floor and sobbed.
"Aurora, that's Choral! Choral cheated on me with Edwin." Rayven said, emotionally.
I looked at him and gave him a "Are you serious?" look. He cupped my cheek and our lips connected. It was a sad, soft, and gentle kiss.
"That's where I saw Choral before," I said.
"Yep. And that's where I saw Edwin. Aurora, he looked very familiar too when I saw him last night, but I didn't know where I saw him before."
"Wow!"
"Yeah. Now we know, we can heal, and heal together. Anyway enough about this...I'm starving. Let's get lunch."
I nodded in agreement. Rayven started to back out. He looked at me. He stoped.
"Um—so where are we eating?"
"Uh, sushi. I'm in the mood for sushi." I said, happily.
Rayven chuckled. "Like your parent?"
I smiled. "I guess."
Rayven drove us to a sushi restaurant. A very expensive sushi restaurant. A restaurant that my dad took me and my Mom a few years ago. Rayven got out and opened my door. I got out and looked at the restaurant then at Rayven.
"Are you sure this is okay, I mean we can get sushi at the grocery store and, go to the park and talk," I said.
Rayven looked at me and interlocked his fingers with mine. "You're my Queen, let me treat you." He said, seriously.
"Ok, My king." I smiled.
We went in and got a table. The restaurant was super fancy. It had chandeliers and candle-lit tables. Everyone was sitting, talking, and eating their sushi. We got seated by a window by a fountain. I looked out at the fountain. It was so beautiful.
"Would you like something to drink?" The waiter said.
I looked slowly at the waiter. He had tan skin, green emerald eyes, and brown hair that was swept to the side. He had a stubble that defined his face. He looked familiar. Like he was from my past. My childhood. My innocence. I took a closer look at the waiter.
"Miles? Miles Parker?" I asked, fidgeting with my napkin.
The waiter looked at me closely. "Aur—Aurora Johnson?"
I nodded excitedly.
"Oh, my gosh. How are you?" Miles asked.
"I'm okay." I looked at Rayven who has his eyebrow arched. "Miles, this is Rayven Hart—my boyfriend. Rayven, this is Miles Parker my childhood best friend."
The guys looked at each other and shook hands. The manager of the restaurant calls Miles and Miles goes over to the other tables.
"I'll bring you water." Miles said, before getting back to work.
Me and Rayven nodded. When Miles left Rayven looks at me with a sly smile. His eyes were soft.
"What?" I asked.
"So, we're official?"
I rolled my eyes playfully. "Uh, yes. You've been calling me your Baby and Queen."
"Hm. True." He nodded. "Okay, I'll ask you something, Baby."
"Okay?" I ask, concerned.
Rayven grabbed my hand and intertwined his fingers with my fingers. He smiled softly. He started to sweat. He bit his lower lip nervously.
"Be mine." He said, confidently.
Miles came back with two glasses of water. He gave us a warm smile. Rayven and I order and afterwards, Rayven looked at me impatiently. He tapped his foot under the table. I could tell he was waiting for my answer.
"Yes, Rayven Hart—I'll be yours. I've been yours since the day we first laid eyes on each other." I smiled.
He smiled mischievously. His eyes were soft. I grabbed my water and sipped it. My cheeks felt hot. Miles brought out the sushi and I went and sat next to Rayven. He's surprised by my actions. He put his arm around me and we ate the DELICIOUS sushi.
I looked at Rayven. "So, how was the recording session?" I asked.
"Oh, we're coming out with great music." Rayven said, smiling.
"What kind of music?"
"It's a surprise. We're going back on tour soon. I'd really like for you to come. The guys would love it too."
I think about it. My parents wouldn't like it and I couldn't be away for so long. I'd have to quit my job.
"Uh—I'd have to think about it." I said.
When Rayven pays I check my man out. He looked at me and smiled at me softly."What are you doing, Baby?" He asked.
"Admiring My sexy King."
He smirked. I got up and then Rayven. He had his arm around my shoulder. I saw Miles and we exchanged smiles. Rayven opened my door when we got to his car. I got in and Rayven closed my door.
Rayven drove to a fancy-ass house. I see "The Pages" tour van. Ezra and Jacob were leaning against the garage wall. Rayven pulls up to the driveway. I looked at Rayven.
"Is—Is this your house?"
"Yeah. I thought we could hang out here...after I kick the guys out."
I laughed. "Okay."
