6 months laterIt's the day! It was the last morning of being a Johnson. It's my wedding day. I can't believe it's here. We've had so much fun planning our wedding and getting ready for this wedding but it's time for this. I'm so excited but nervous; So nervous.
I woke up early feeling my heartbeat going faster than usual. The woman are coming to my place to get ready and the guys are going to Rayven's.
I heard a knock on my door and I said, "Come in." My dad came in with a bag in his hand smiling. He looked at my packed boxes that I packed over the months. He came over to me and sits by me. He cupped my cheek.
"Big day, today." He said.
I put my head on his shoulder. "Oh, Daddy, I'm so nervous and excited. What if I screw up my vows? What if—"
My dad chuckled. "You won't. I'll be by your side." My dad choked up. "And know this will be your home. Always."
"Oh, Daddy. I do. It is."
I saw my mom in the doorway and she's smiling. "Um—Camoran. Aren't you supposed to be on your way to Rayven's?"
My dad looked at my mom. "Yeah. I just wanted to say bye before I see my daughter in her dress and I get teary-eyed."
My mom came into my room and put her hands on my dad's shoulder.
"We're so proud of you, Aurora! I love you. I'll see you later." My dad said, leaving my room.
"I love you too, Daddy!"
When I got up I got the red robes I bought for my bridesmaids and I put mine on. I started to wash my face. When everyone got to my house I handed them their robes to them. They changed into them.
Mick and Tessa fixes my hair into curls and braids on either side of my head. I put little wisp's by my face to give detail of my face.
A makeup artist came and did my makeup. She put brown eyeshadow, black eyeliner, and mascara on my eyes. For my lips she put a red lipstick. The same color that was used for my wedding.
"Thank you." I thank the makeup artist, looking in the mirror.
The makeup artist nodded and smiled. "You're welcome, Ms. Johnson. It was a pleasure."
I grabbed my dress from my closet and looked at it for a long while. 'I'm getting married.' I thought.
Mick grabbed the dress and looked at me. "Ready, Mrs. Hart?"
I laughed nervously and my cheeks felt warm. I bit my lip. I take deep breaths. "Yes. Yes, I am."
Mick helped me into my dress and my buttons. She put my vail on. I put my vail over my face and I looked at myself. 'Wow! This is me. Aurora Illine Johnson. Soon to be Hart.' I thought.
I walked out and all the ladies gasped. Especially My Aunt Lexi. Her eyes were filled with tears and love.
"Wow! Aurora, you look like a dream." Aunt Lexi said. "Let me go get your mom."
My Aunt Lexi darted off to my parents room. I twirled in my dress. Tessa smiled. "Rayven is going to love that dress."
I chuckled. "This was my dream dress since I was ten.""Well...you look beautiful, sister."
"Thank you."
I heard my mom gasp. "Aurora Illine! You are so beautiful." My mom took my hands. "I'm not going to cry...just...you look beautiful."
"Thanks mama." I said, tightening my grip of our connected hands.
Suddenly we heard a knock and my heart stopped. It was my dad. It's the man who I've first loved and raised me. It's the man who I look like so much.
Everyone went into the rooms and my mom opened the door. I stood in front of the door, twirling. He teared up immediately when he saw me. My dad was wearing a black tux with a red bow tie. He came and side hugged me.
"Oh, Aurora...you look so beautiful. This is harder as every second comes. I don't want to give you away today, but I have to. I want you to know, you're my baby girl always and forever." My dad cried.
I put my hands on his cheeks. "Daddy...I am going to be a Hart, but I'm also a Johnson. As long as I live. I was born a Johnson. That will never change."
"Well...let's get you married. Rayven is anxious to see you."
"Really?"
My dad chuckled. "Yes. He couldn't shut up about you and seeing you walking down the aisle."My heart melted. "That's my Rayven."
When we got to the beach my dad linked his arm with mine. I had red roses in my other hand. There was curtain that covered and the ladies are right in front of me. Aunt Lexi looks at me and said, "you've got this, girly."
"Thanks Aunt Lex."
I heard soft instrumental music and Mick, Aunt Bella, and Aunt Lexi walked out towards the altar. The curtains closed back up. I squeezed my dad's arm and whimpered softly. He looked at me.
"You've got this, Rory. I've got you." He whispered.
I heard the instrumental version of the song, "A thousand years". The curtains opened and I saw everyone standing and looking at me. Rayven smiled at me. He's in his tux with a white bow tie. He started to coke up badly. Tears came down his cheeks.Me and my Dad walked swiftly along the beach towards Rayven. I tightened my grip on my dad. I smiled at Rayven. He stood next to my dad and my dad patted him on his back.
The officiant said, "Who gives this woman to this man in marriage?"
My dad looked at both of us and smiled at me. "Her mother and I." My dad kissed my forehead and whispered, "I love you, baby girl."
My dad sat down next to my mom. I held my hands with Rayven's. He exhaled sharply. The officiant said some things and Rayven got out a piece of paper. Ezra looked at me.
"Aurora Illine Johnson, I choose you and no other. I promise to protect you, love you for eternity. You make me happy every day. You make me grow stronger within my heart. You're mine. You're my Queen. I can't wait to laugh with you, sing with you, kiss every single night and kiss you all over again because you're my best friend. Our hearts are intertwined with our love. I love you." Rayven cried.
I gulped. I took out my piece of paper with my written vows.
"Rayven River Hart, I promise to love you forever. I promise to never give up on how much you mean to me and how much you've helped me. Rayven, I give you my heart and soul. I love you Rayven Hart...I'm yours."
Ezra handed the officiant the rings. I grabbed the ring from the officiant. I put the ring on Rayven's finger.
"With this ring..."
Rayven grabbed my ring and places it on my finger. "...I thee wed."
The officiant smiled and said, "I now pronounce you man and woman...Rayven, you may kiss your bride."
Rayven pulled back my vail and put his arms around my waist and kissed me. His lips were soft. He dipped me down and laughed. "I'm married!" He exclaimed. He kisses me again. I laughed. I stood up.
"I introduce to you, Mr. and Mrs. Rayven Hart everyone." The officiant says.Me and Rayven ran up the aisle and laughed. Rayven grabbed me by my waist and kissed me. He then looked at me. His eyes were emotionally. "You look...wow!"
I batted my eyelashes. "Thank you."
"Let's get out of here, Mrs. Hart."
I chuckled. "What about everyone?"
"They'll fend for themselves."
"Okay, just let me tell everyone we're going."
"I'll be in the car."
