Sam had a rather busy night.

She was perched on a ladder, fixing the flickering ON-Air sign of Studio B when Reese arrived, preventing her from offering a greeting.

A wave was exchanged between the the two of them before she resumed working.

Later.

I'll tell her later, she thought before returning to her work.

The rest of the night kept her occupied at the transmitter room, preventing her from listening to Reese's show while she worked.

By the time she returned to the main area, it was nearly 2 am. She settled behind the front desk, ready to document her work.

With a cup of coffee in hand and paperwork to complete, she switched on the radio in hopes of catching the tail end of the show. She realized that she had missed the soothing sound of Reese's voice.

Instead of Reese's familiar tones, only static filled the air.

Sam's concern grew, as dead air was a serious transgression in radio broadcasting. Reese had maintained a flawless record during her two years at YG.
