Angelina's pov <>
After texting mom I started driving. I was nervous. So much that I can't put it in words. Like seriously if few days ago somebody would told me I'd be meeting the man of my dreams I would've had laughed on their face. And here I am today. Life is so unpredictable.
My thoughts broke as I heard a throat clearing sound from my left. Reminding I'm not all alone to be drifting into thoughts, thoughts of the same man who's sitting right next to me. Great . Why am I so stupid?
Giving a quick side glance towards his direction with a smile, encouraging him to say what he wants to because it's so clear he has something to say probably yet he is somewhat hesitant. And it seem to work because he spoke after a minute of silence .
"So... where are we going first..?" He asked clapping his hands. Excitement visible in his tone and I'm sure if I turn to look at him right now I'd find him all smiley which made me smile along automatically.
"Mmm.... I was thinking about it entire day. There are few places that I think you'd like. So I made a kinda little list..." I replied with a gentle smile.
"Oh I see.. I'm just excited. To be honest i thought I'd spend my entire time all alone. I mean that's what I wanted yes but not like that you know ? Not without exploring. I'm glad I found a friend...." he replied. I heard everything he said I swear but my heart filled with warmth at the last line.
"I'm glad too Mr singer...." I replied with a playful wink. That earned me a chuckle from him that sent shiver down my spine.
"You stuck with that nick name eh?.. " he asked playing along.
"Permanently..." I replied Giggling.
"I've to come with a name too than.." he said that made me give him a glance in surprise.
"You want to give me a nick name...?" I asked and felt little relieved I didn't stutter because I could feel my cheeks heating up.
"Uh huh you gave me one so it's only fair I return the favor isn't it..?" He replied in mischievous tone.
"Hmm sure sure..." I replied with chuckle, not knowing what else to say. We fell into silence. A comfortable one.
Tae was looking out of window , enjoying the air of Seattle watching the passing buildings. While my mind started to wonder around tonight. As excited as I am to spend time with him, tonight's phone call didn't leave my mind yet. I am more eager to talk to sameena. Got lot in my head.
In few minutes we reached to our destination. I slowed down the car, eventually stopping at the parking. We both untied our seat belts and came out of the vehicle. Turning to face Tae with a smile I asked him to come along to which he complied happily.
For the first sighting I choose to take him to Seattle's public aquarium. It opened in 1997. It exhibits birds, shores, river otters, giant pacific octopus etc.
When I turned to look back to see why he hasn't said anything yet, I found him following close behind me looking around curiously with his big eyes and excited smile. Which made me smile too.
I turned to ticket counter and bought two tickets for us. When I was about to pay a hand stopped me, needless to say who it could be. I turned to my side looking at him with slight blush on my cheeks which I hope he didn't noticed, I found him smiling and shaking his head. Taking his wallet out he paid for our tickets.
All this while his hand stayed over mine which didn't fail to give me butterflies in my belly. He probably didn't even realised yet. God I hope he doesn't so I can relish the feeling for little longer. I was lost in my own little world, blushing while looking at our hands.
