KIARA
Kiara ran to the bathroom as fast as she could.
She felt extremely weak and fell to her knees as she threw up in the toilet. After a couple of seconds she attempted to catch her breath.
Inhale.
Exhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
It didn't work.
She threw up again.
This happens every few months to her. Sometimes it gets better, sometimes it doesn't.
She flushed the toilet and tried to get back up. Touching her forehead, she felt sweat dripping from her hair line. Her skin felt dry as well as her mouth and she looked in the mirror.
The pajama shorts she got from Victoria's Secret freshman year were wrinkled and the oversized T-shirt sleeves were almost over her shoulders. Her messy bun had practically fallen out and she felt so gross.
Feeling lightheaded again, she placed both of her hands on her counter and stared at her sink.
She didn't look healthy.
There was a knock at the door. "Kiara?"
She opened the door, and met with the 6'3 blonde who was leaning against the door frame.
His hair was messy and almost fell over his eyes. She hated to admit it but he looked really good.
"You got sick again, didn't you?"
She ignored him and rubbed her eyes.
"Maybe I should take you to the hospital-"
"No! They're just going to send me to rehab again."
"But I want to help you." He trailed behind her.
"Maybe I don't want your help JJ!" She snapped at him.
Fuck.
Seeing the look on his face made her instantly regret that sentence.
She didn't mean to get upset with him, they just got over their last argument and now she had to yell at him again?
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you." She pushed back the hair that was stuck to her forehead.
"It's fine." He mumbled.
JJ looked so hurt.
"Look, this happens every once in a while, I'll be okay in a few days I swear. I'm just gonna go shower, I'll be out in a few."
She walked to the bathroom and he heard the shower start to run. He knew he wasn't going to leave her. Not in this state. He may be a little upset right now, but he wouldn't do that.
