One thing about you was that you've never been able to play video games; not with your schedule, where you've been preoccupied with acting. Your parents never encouraged it nor do you get the chance to play or have free time whatsoever. So, you were just spectating your classmates playing on the library for this big tournament that schools were hosting. The game contained two players—which were currently played by Max and Adrien. From what you can see and from the words Kim said, Max was unbeatable. Adrien seemed to add to the cause as he was nowhere close to winning against the intelligent boy.

Adrien groaned in defeat as he lost against Max, making you laugh quietly at him.

Unlike Max's victorious grin, Adrien held a disappointed smile. His disappointment quickly turned mischievous as he heard your chuckle. Glancing at you over his shoulder, he got up from his seat to walk towards you and hand you the game controller.

"C'mon, Y/n. Give it a try!" He exclaimed encouragingly, his green irises lit up; despite his mischievous expression.

You gave him a skeptical look before nodding almost helplessly as you took the controller. You took the seat Adrien previously sat at and looked over at the boy beside you, his face still concentrated on the screen. Even with his explanation of the game, you still remained clueless. Watching the countdown from the game ticking down, you didn't have time to think about the game as you quickly pressed down the buttons from the controller. Having absolutely no idea what was happening, you heard the cheers among your friends; signaling you that you had won against Max. To say you were surprised was an understatement, especially considering you lacked the ability to win. Doesn't matter anyways, you just won against the boy who was titled unbeatable.

Seeing the boy sigh in disappointment, you grabbed his shoulder reassuringly, "No, I'm okay, Y/n. We'll definitely make a killer combo!" Grinning, he lifted his hand up for a high-five. You snickered as you returned his gesture.

Disrupting your friendly conversation with Max, the principal came towards you both, "Well I think we have our champions for the Parisian Tour—"

Interrupting him, you heard Marinette shout from the corner of the library, with Alya peeking at her from the book shelf they were standing near, "Wait!" You all turn to face her in awe, "Is it too late to try out?"

Everyone seemed surprised as they acknowledged her presence.

"Well, the library is closing up in five minutes, but."

The principal looked over at you guys momentarily before nodding at the blunette. She had a determined look as she marched over to where you were standing. Marinette sat on one of the seats, bringing her hand out for a controller.
